    • Picks up win
Manaea (3-1) earned the win Sunday against Miami, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Manaea allowed three or fewer runs for a sixth straight appearance, but he did tield his second homer of the campaign when Dane Myers hit a two-run homer in the second inning. Although Manaea hasn't gone deeper than six innings once this year, he owns a solid 3.11 ERA with 41 strikeouts across 46.1 innings. He's on track for a home start against the Giants next Sunday. • Loses to former team
Taillon (3-2) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over 4.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Pirates.

Advice: Taillon was a bit inefficient, throwing 55 of 92 pitches for strikes. This was the second start in a row where he failed to complete five innings, and it's the third time in a row he's walked multiple batters. The right-hander is now at a 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 22:10 K:BB through 32.2 innings over six starts, though his strong April has given way to a shakier May following a bout with back stiffness. Taillon is tentatively projected to make his next start on the road in St. Louis. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 pm
    • Marcell Ozuna doubles in loss to Padres
Marcell Ozuna went 1-for-3 with a double as the Braves were dominated by Yu Darvish and the Padres on Sunday evening in Atlanta.

Advice: Ozuna smacked a two-out double off of Darvish in the opening inning, but he never advanced past second base. No other Braves’ hitter would touch second base the remainder of the night against Darvish. Ozuna continues to power the Braves’ offense this season — slashing a robust .325/.400/.610 with 12 homers and 41 RBI through his first 42 ballgames. Rotoworld Today, 7:04 pm

    • Adolis Garcia (forearm) undergoes MRI on Sunday
Adolis Garcia underwent an MRI exam on his injured right forearm on Sunday which came back clean for any structural damage.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was scratched from the Angels’ lineup on Sunday due to a right forearm issue. It looks like he avoided anything serious though and Rangers’ skipper Bruce Bochy told reporters that he expects Garcia to return to the team’s starting lineup on Tuesday. Rotoworld Today, 2:47 pm

    • Imaging comes back clean
Garcia (forearm) underwent imaging on his forearm Sunday, which came back clean according to manager Bruce Bochy, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: Garcia was scratched from the lineup ahead of Sunday's series finale with the Angels due to right forearm discomfort, but he appears to have avoided any sort of significant injury. The team has an off day Monday, so the outfielder's next opportunity to return to the lineup will come Tuesday on the road versus the Phillies. Rotowire.com Today, 2:43 pm

    • Jameson Taillon allows three runs in loss to Bucs
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pirates, giving up three runs on six hits across 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. He served up a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the second inning, then kept the Pirates at bay until Nick Gonzales smacked a two-run single in the fifth inning that scored a pair of runners that Taillon had left on base. The 32-year-old hurler got eight swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 22/10 K/BB ratio (32 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm
    • Sean Manaea wins, strikes out four
Sean Manaea allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and got the win.

Advice: This was a very Manaea start, going five frames, missing bats, and limiting damage. He’s been very solid this season with a 3.11 ERA and three wins in nine starts. Walks have been an issue for him, but not on Sunday. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

    • Isaac Paredes homers in loss
Isaac Paredes hit a two-run home run on Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Paredes’ homer was the only sign of life for the Rays’ offense on Sunday as they were stifled by Alek Manoah for seven innings. Paredes continues to prove his doubters wrong with a .309 batting average, .916 OPS, and nine home runs on the season. Rotoworld Today, 1:41 pm

    • Shut down from throwing
Bradford (ribs) said Sunday he's been shut down from throwing since he's not recovering as quickly as expected, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The left-hander apparently wasn't experiencing any pain since recently starting up a throwing program, but his recovery also wasn't moving forward. It's unclear when Bradford is expected to restart the throwing program, and he should be considered out indefinitely until his status is updated. Rotowire.com Today, 12:52 pm
