    • Tuesday's game postponed
Bradish and the Orioles won't play against the Blue Jays on Tuesday since the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

Advice: The contest will be made up via a traditional doubleheader July 29. Bradish will simply have his start pushed back a day and will pitch in Wednesday's series finale versus Toronto, per Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:48 pm

    • Tuesday’s Blue Jays vs. O’s game postponed (rain)
Tuesday’s game between the Blue Jays and Orioles has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Advice: So, this one is a surprise. There is some light rain in the forecast, especially for the later stages of the contest, but to make the call this early is a real stunner. It’ll be made up as a doubleheader on July 29. Tuesday’s original starting pitchers -- Chris Bassitt and Kyle Bradish -- will take the ball on Wednesday instead. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:47 pm

    • Reynaldo López (back) likely to make next start
Reynaldo López tossed five scoreless innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: López certainly would’ve gone deeper into the contest, but he was lifted for precautionary reasons following just 71 pitches (50 strikes) after his back tightened up on him. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern with Braves manager Brian Snitker telling reporters afterwards that he doesn’t expect him to miss his next start. The 30-year-old righty will bring a stellar 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40/16 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Padres. Rotoworld Monday, 7:45 pm

    • Exits with tight back
Lopez was lifted from Monday's start against the Cubs early due to back tightness, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports. He didn't factor into the decision after allowing two hits and two walks while striking out four over five scoreless innings.

Advice: Lopez was removed from the game firing 71 pitches, and he likely would've gone back out for the sixth had his back not become an issue. He'll be considered day-to-day leading up to his next outing, but the club expects him to be ready for his next start, per Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:10 pm

    • Silences Dodgers over seven frames
Darvish (3-1) earned the win over the Dodgers on Sunday after firing seven shutout innings and allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

Advice: Darvish extended his scoreless innings streak to 17 innings in another dominant outing since returning from the injured list April 30. He retired the first 14 hitters he faced in order until walking Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth. Darvish generated an excellent 19 whiffs and tied his season high with seven strikeouts. The 37-year-old owns a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB in 40.2 innings and lines up for another tough task against Atlanta his next time out. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:32 pm

    • Yu Darvish fires seven scoreless to beat Dodgers
Yu Darvish was magnificent in Sunday afternoon’s victory over the Dodgers, piling up seven strikeouts across seven innings of shutout baseball.

Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander allowed just two hits and one walk on the day. He retired the first 14 hitters that he faced in order until he walked Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth inning. He then allowed a single to Enrique Hernandez, but got Miguel Rojas to line out to end the threat. Darvish generated 19 swings and misses on 101 pitches in the ballgame — one or more on eight different offerings — while posting an elite CSW of 36 percent. He has yet to allow a run over 17 innings since returning from the injured list and now boasts a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 37/12 K/BB ratio over 40 2/3 innings on the year. He draws a tough assignment next time out though, having to take on the Braves in Atlanta on Saturday. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:36 pm

    • Struggles versus Miami
Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals. • Zack Wheeler tagged by Marlins on Sunday
Zack Wheeler allowed six runs on six hits in four innings in a no-decision against the Marlins on Sunday.

Advice: Wheeler allowed seven hard-hit balls in just four innings of work, including a three-run homer to Josh Bell. He posted just a 12 percent whiff rate and 15 percent CSW and was only able to land his sinker in the strike zone 32 percent of the time. It feels like just an off-game for Wheeler, whose velocity was fine. He’ll carry a 2.53 ERA into next week’s start against the Nationals. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:11 pm

    • Throws off mound
Pepiot (leg) threw a 15-pitch bullpen session Sunday, Steve Carney of StPeteNine.com reports.

Advice: Pepiot landed on the 15-day injured list Wednesday after sustaining a lower left leg contusion when he was hit by a line drive in his start against the Mets last Sunday. He noted that he felt good after the throwing session Sunday, and he could return from the IL when first eligible May 21. The right-hander confirmed after the bullpen session that he doesn't expect to need a rehab start in the minors prior to being activated. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:09 am
