It was another shaky outing for Helsley, who has struggled recently with his command, walking four over his last two appearances.       Jose Altuve blasted a three-run homer in the second inning on Sunday, powering the Astros to a 4-1 victory over the Tigers in their series finale in Houston.

      Advice: The Astros scratched out a run in the opening inning as Altuve singled, took second on a wild pitch and raced around to score on a single off the bat of Yordan Alvarez.       Rengifo suffered a left wrist contusion in Sunday's 13-6 loss to the Giants, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports. He went 1-for-2 with a run scored prior to his departure.

      Advice: Rengifo took a line drive single from Matt Chapman off his left arm in the bottom of the fourth inning while playing third base, exiting the contest thereafter. The 27-year-old underwent X-rays, which showed just a contusion, and he said that he expects to play Monday against the Brewers. Rengifo can be considered day-to-day for the time being.       Luis Rengifo (wrist) told reporters after Sunday’s game that he expects to play on Monday.

      Advice: Rengifo was pulled from Sunday’s game after being drilled in the wrist by a ball off the bat of Matt Chapman. He did undergo precautionary X-rays that ruled out any fractures though and was diagnosed with a left wrist contusion.
