    • Colt Keith not in Tuesday’s lineup against lefty
Colt Keith is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: Keith will take a seat with Andy Ibanez getting the start at second base in the 22-year-old’s place. Carson Kelly is also out with Ranger Suarez on the mound for the Phillies, with Jake Rogers instead getting the nod behind the plate. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:49 am

    • Excluded from lineup vs. lefty
Benson (elbow) is out of the lineup Monday against the Pirates.

Advice: Benson will take a seat for the series opener versus the Pirates after he exited late in the Reds' 7-4 loss to the Red Sox on Sunday, when he was struck in the left elbow by a pitch. He's day-to-day after X-rays returned negative, but even if he was 100 percent, the lefty-hitting Benson likely would have been on the bench anyway with the Pirates sending southpaw Bailey Falter to the mound. Benson has recorded just four hits in 42 at-bats versus lefties this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:34 pm

    • Drawing start at DH on Monday
Fry (elbow) will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Fry's status heading into the series opener in Baltimore was somewhat murky after he was forced out of Sunday's 6-5 win over Toronto with right elbow inflammation, but the 29-year-old is apparently feeling well enough to stick in the lineup Monday in a non-defensive role. Once the elbow issue fully subsides, expect Fry to mix in behind the plate and in the corner outfield along with at DH as the Guardians make a concerted effort to keep his productive bat in the lineup. • Likely bound for reserve role
Moore is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

Advice: The versatile Moore should retain a regular spot in the Seattle lineup against left-handed pitching, but his opportunities to play against righties should take a sizable hit with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) making his return from the injured list Monday. Moore had already seen his streak of nine consecutive starts come to an end in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Marlins, when manager Scott Servais opted to move him to the bench against Miami right-hander Kyle Tyler. • Heston Kjerstad starting over Cowser on Monday
Colton Cowser is on the bench on Monday against the Guardians.

Advice: After the Orioles called up Heston Kjerstad on Monday, they will now insert him into the starting lineup and move Cowser to the bench. In 46 games since May 1st, Cowser is hitting .182/.285/.299 with a 29 percent strikeout rate, so the Orioles may be willing to move him to the bench full-time to see if Kjerstad can provide them more offense. Rotoworld Monday, 12:14 pm
    • Sitting in favor of Kjerstad
Cowser is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Cowser will take a seat against a right-handed starter (Tanner Bibee) for the third time in five games. Though the Orioles haven't publicly said that Cowser -- who is batting .175 in June -- will see fewer opportunities moving forward, the promotion of Heston Kjerstad from Triple-A Norfolk on Monday wouldn't seem to be a positive development for Cowser's outlook. Kjerstad will enter the Baltimore lineup right away Monday, covering Cowser's typical spot in left field while batting fifth. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:54 am
    • X-rays on elbow negative
Benson was removed from Sunday's 7-4 loss to Boston after getting hit by a pitch on the inside of his left elbow, MLB.com reports. X-rays following the game came back negative.

Advice: Benson was plunked during the bottom of the eighth inning and stayed in the game to run, but he was replaced by Nick Martini for the top of the ninth. Prior to leaving, Benson went 0-for-3, running his hitless streak to a career-high 21 at-bats. It's unclear if the injury will force Benson to miss much action, but it's unlikely he will be in the lineup Monday against Pittsburgh left-hander Bailey Falter. The lefty-hitting Benson doesn't get many opportunities against southpaws, against whom he's batting .095 (4-for-42) this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:36 am

    • Lifts seventh homer
Vientos went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Vientos has two homers over his last four contests after going deep in the eighth inning Sunday. The third baseman is up to seven long balls, 18 RBI, 19 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases while slashing .289/.344/.526 over 125 plate appearances. Vientos has been operating in a starting role at the hot corner since Brett Baty was demoted to Triple-A Syracuse at the end of May. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:25 pm

    • Provides offense Sunday
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games. Assuming he stays healthy, Morel could surpass that figure in 2024 as the team is still a few games shy of the season's midpoint. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:27 pm
