• Jose Miranda drives in two in win over Royals
Jose Miranda went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.

Advice: Miranda singled in the bottom of the first two to drive in two runs and gave the Twins an early lead. He’s now driven in four runs in his last two games and has hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games played. The Twins third baseman is slashing a solid .276/.313/.447 on the month and has five homers and 16 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 7:42 pm

  • Woods Richardson picks up second win vs. Royals
Simeon Woods Richardson allowed two earned runs over five innings, picking up the win on Tuesday against the Royals.

Advice: Woods Richardson allowed two runs in the fifth when Garrett Hampson and Kyle Isbel drove in runs in back-to-back plate appearances. He was far from dominant, but Woods Richardson allowed just five total base runners on the night and had the Twins in position to win he made his exit. Tuesday’s win marks his first since April 13th, as Woods Richardson will now look to pick up his third win on Sunday against the Astros. Rotoworld Today, 7:38 pm
  • Cole Ragans allows three earned runs in loss
Cole Ragans allowed nine hits and three earned runs over five innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Twins.

Advice: Ragans ran into trouble in the first inning when he allowed back-to-back hits to his first two batters faced, only to see both players score on a Jose Miranda single a few batters later. Ragans would allow another run in the fourth on a Manuel Margot double, as the left was hit around for much of the evening. His nine hits allowed tied for the second-most he’s allowed on the season, as Ragans has struggled at times to limit base runners despite a solid 3.49 ERA. He walked 30 batters while walking eight this month and is scheduled to make his next start on Sunday against the Padres. Rotoworld Today, 7:36 pm

  • Exits with injury
Megill was removed from Tuesday's game against the Cubs after getting hit in the right arm by a line drive, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Megill entered Tuesday's game in the 10th inning and threw three pitches to Mike Tauchman before getting taking a 99-mph line drive off his right (throwing) arm. Megill immediately came out of the game and will presumably head into the clubhouse for imaging. The Brewers should have more information on his status following Tuesday's contest. • Trevor Megill exits after being hit by line drive
Trevor Megill left Tuesday’s relief appearance against the Cubs with an apparent injury.

Advice: Ouch. Megill was struck on the right elbow by a 99-mph line-drive off Mike Tauchman’s bat in the 10th inning of Tuesday’s showdown against the Cubs and immediately left the contest. The 30-year-old righty will likely head for X-rays to determine the extent of the damage. There should be an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Today, 7:28 pm

  • Eovaldi goes three innings in return from IL
Nathan Eovaldi allowed two earned runs over three innings in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: After pitching a perfect first inning, Eovaldi ran into trouble in the second, allowing the first three batters he faced to reach base, with Pavin Smith doubling home Christian Walker to give the Diamondbacks their first run of the night. He would give up another run in the inning on a Eugenio Suárez sacrifice fly. He would only pitch one more inning before being pulled after 37 pitches, functioning somewhat as an opener for the Rangers after the team opted to scratch Dane Dunning from his scheduled start. It was Eovaldi’s first outing since May 2nd after he was placed on the 15-day IL with a groin strain. If he’s back on the five-game rotation, his next start would be scheduled for Monday against the Tigers. Rotoworld Today, 7:28 pm

  • Rafael Devers has four hits in win over Orioles
Rafael Devers went 4-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in an 8-3 win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: It was a solid day at the plate for Devers, who had two hits over 104 mph and is now hitting .295 with seven home runs and 19 RBI in 25 games in May. It’s safe to say that he’s rebounded nicely from his slow start to the year, and the counting stats should continue to climb when the Red Sox are able to get Tyler O’Neill, Triston Casas, and Masataka Yoshida back in the lineup around Devers. • Refsnyder has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
Rob Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Refsnyder had a 102.2 mph double off of Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning and then clobbered a 419-foot home run in the ninth that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was his second home run on the season, and he now has 13 RBI to go along with a .347/.437/.547 slash line in 87 plate appearances this season. With Tyler O’Neill visiting a specialist for his troublesome right knee, there is a chance that Refsnyder starts getting more regular at-bats for the Red Sox in the near future. • Andrew Abbott hit hard in loss to Cardinals
Andrew Abbott allowed six runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: It was only a matter of time before there was a rough start for the left-hander who came into the day with a 2.68 ERA but a 4.38 SIERA and just an 8.3 percent swinging strike rate. His sweeper performed well on Tuesday, but the rest of his arsenal lagged behind a bit and while he didn’t get hit overly hard, he had just an 18 percent whiff rate and 23 percent CSW on the day. He’ll now take a 3.29 ERA into a game in Coors Field next week. He’s a very risky start there. Rotoworld Today, 6:20 pm
