    Advice: Fitzgerald has recorded three multi-hit games this season, and he's batting .313 with a .915 OPS over 34 plate appearances. He remains in a utility role, but he's done well when in the lineup, posting one home run, three RBI, six runs scored, two doubles, a triple and four stolen bases. Fitzgerald's lack of an everyday role limits his fantasy viability, and his best chance at playing time is at shortstop, though Nick Ahmed has held his own there by batting .262 over 27 contests. Fitzgerald has also played in center field occasionally versus southpaws when Jung Hoo Lee is out of the lineup, though that has not been a strict platoon situation.     The Mariners are expected to option outfielder Jonatan Clase to Triple-A Tacoma on Monday.

    Advice: The 21-year-old wound up appearing in just nine games during his brief stay with the big league club — hitting .222/.250/.259 with zero homers, three RBI, two stolen bases and a 9/1 K/BB ratio in 28 plate appearances. The thinking is probably that it’s best to let him play every day at the Triple-A level and continue to develop as opposed to seeing sporadic playing time with the M’s.     Advice: The Astros scored 20 runs combined across their two-game series against Colorado, and Diaz drove in three of those runs. His damage Sunday came late in the contest, as he drove in a pair of runners with a double in the eighth inning.     Advice: Yastrzemski has hit safely in six of his last eight games, going 9-for-22 (.409) in that span. His two hitless contests in that span were games during which he entered off the bench. The outfielder remains in a strong-side platoon role this year. He's slashing .236/.311/.345 with two homers, 10 RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases over 62 plate appearances while sharing right field with platoon partner Austin Slater.     Advice: Estrada opened the scoring when he took Jared Jones deep in the third inning. Estrada has gone 2-for-7 over two games since he recovered from a minor hamstring issue. The second baseman is slashing a modest .235/.255/.422 with four homers, 13 RBI, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases through 28 contests. His power is in line with previous years, but Estrada logged 20-plus steals in both 2022 and 2023, so it's a little unusual to see him getting less involved on the basepaths.
