• Dealing with knee soreness
Keith was removed from Saturday's game against Milwaukee with left knee discomfort, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Keith and Akil Baddoo collided in right field while running at full speed, but Keith took the brunt of it and was removed from the contest during the third inning. Considering Keith was able to walk off the field without any assistance, it seems like he avoided a major injury. Still, the Tigers will likely continue to evaluate him throughout Saturday evening. Detroit will finish its three-game series against the Brewers on Sunday ahead of a team off day. Rotowire.com Today, 2:41 pm

  • Called up by Halos
Stefanic was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Advice: Stefanic spent the first two months of the season on the injured list with a strained left quad but was activated in late May and assigned to Triple-A. At Salt Lake, he slashed .333/.431/.426 in 54 plate appearances and will now replace Kyren Paris on the Angels' active roster. Stefanic should mix in at second base until Brandon Drury (hamstring) returns from the IL. Rotowire.com Today, 2:30 pm

  • Angels recall Michael Stefanic from Triple-A
Angels recalled INF Michael Stefanic from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Advice: Stefanic, 28, has excelled in 19 minor league games so far this season, hitting .334/.440/.426 with zero homers, 13 RBI, one stolen base and a 5/12 K/BB ratio over 76 plate appearances. A better real-life player than a fantasy asset, Stefanic will replace Kyren Paris as the Angels’ primary reserve infielder. Rotoworld Today, 2:28 pm

  • Removed from game after collision
Keith was removed from Saturday's game against the Brewers in the third inning after colliding with Akil Baddoo while tracking down a flyball, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Keith was running full speed toward the foul line in right field and collided with Akil Baddoo as the ball dropped. The second baseman looked to be grabbing at his left leg before walking back to the dugout unassisted. Zach McKinstry replaced Keith at second base. Rotowire.com Today, 2:09 pm

  • Colt Keith leaves game after collision in outfield
Colt Keith was removed from Saturday’s battle against the Brewers after he collided with teammate Akil Baddoo in shallow right field.

Advice: It’s not immediately clear where he took the brunt of the full-speed collision, but he was obviously shaken up afterwards. The good news, is that he was able to walk off the field under his own power. Expect him to head for further evaluation — and perhaps a trip through the concussion protocol. The Tigers should have an update on his status after the game. Rotoworld Today, 2:09 pm

  • Fields grounders Friday
Rendon (hamstring) progressed to taking groundballs Friday, per MLB.com.

Advice: Rendon resumed baseball activities earlier in the week, making throws and taking swings in the batting cages. His ability Friday to take grounders -- albeit only on balls that were hit right at him in order to avoid lateral movement -- was another sign of progress, and Rendon is expected to put his strained left hamstring to an even bigger test by jogging Saturday. Rendon remains weeks away from a return, but it's now feasible that he could be back with the Angels by the end of June. Rotowire.com Today, 12:07 pm

  • Taking dry swings
Muncy (oblique) has begun taking dry swings and doing plyo-ball workouts, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: This is a step forward for Muncy, as he had previously been unable to swing a bat at all after continuing to experience soreness in his oblique. However, manager Dave Roberts said last week that the third baseman is on a "slow program," so Muncy doesn't appear to be particularly close to a return. He hasn't played in a game since May 15 and will likely need to go on a rehab assignment before rejoining the big-league club. Rotowire.com Today, 11:58 am

  • Josh Jung (wrist) resumes taking batting practice
Josh Jung (wrist) has progressed to taking batting practice.

Advice: Jung was cleared to resume swinging a bat back in late May, so it’s a positive sign he’s taking regular batting practice again. The 26-year-old has been brought along slowly in his rehabilitation from early-April surgery on his right wrist. The hope is that he’ll be ready to return at some point in late June or early July. There is no official timetable at this juncture, but he should be getting close to starting a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Today, 10:55 am

  • Continuing to sit
Davis is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Toronto.

Advice: Saturday marks Davis' third consecutive absence. The lefty-hitting Tyler Soderstrom will once again start at first base Saturday while batting seventh against Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman. Rotowire.com Today, 10:46 am
