    • Lands on IL
The Brewers placed Hoskins on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Hoskins tweaked his hamstring while running to first base during Monday's game against Pittsburgh and had to come out of the game. He'll now miss at least the next 10 days because of his injury, likely spelling more reps at first base for Jake Bauers and Owen Miller, the latter who was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move. • Rhys Hoskins lands on IL with hamstring strain
Brewers placed 1B Rhys Hoskins on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: No word yet on the severity of the injury, but it sounds like the Brewers want to give Hoskins at least a couple days to rest and recover. The 31-year-old slugger was just starting to really heat up again at the dish, so the timing is a bit unfortunate. There should be some clarity on his status in the coming days as it sounds like Milwaukee is still gathering medical information. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago

    • Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) not in Tuesday’s lineup
Rhys Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Pirates.

Advice: It seems like there’s a possibility Hoskins will manage to avoid a trip to the injured list after undergoing an MRI on Tuesday to determine the severity of a right hamstring. The 31-year-old slugger appears headed for a second opinion at the moment. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the coming days. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. All indications are that it would be Owen Miller, not top prospect Tyler Black, coming up to take his roster spot if he lands on the injured list. Rotoworld Today, 2:09 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Hoskins (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Pirates, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hoskins had to depart Monday's loss to Pittsburgh because of a right hamstring injury. He underwent an MRI and is slated to receive a second opinion, so there's no word yet on a possible trip to the injured list. Owen Miller has been added to the Brewers' taxi squad in case a roster move is ultimately required. Jake Bauers will handle first base for the Brewers on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:42 pm

    • Falls to Mariners
Singer (3-2) took the loss against Seattle on Monday, allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out six batters over five innings.

Advice: Singer came into Monday having allowed exactly one run in three straight starts, but he couldn't keep that momentum going. The right-hander yielded four runs across the second and third frames, marking just the second time this season he's given up that many runs over an entire game. Singer still has a strong 2.84 ERA and 1.11 WHIP through nine starts on the campaign, and he's tossed at least five frames in each of his outings thus far. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 pm
    • Brady Singer struggles in loss to Mariners
Brady Singer was charged for four runs over five innings while picking up a loss Monday to the Mariners.

Advice: Singer was in constant trouble Monday, as he allowed nine hits with one walk against six strikeouts. He gave up a long homer to Luke Raley in the second, and two more runs were surrendered by the right-hander in the third. Singer has been solid for the overwhelming majority of 2024, but this wasn’t his night. A good chance to rebound comes Sunday against the Athletics, assuming the rotation order doesn’t change. • Doubles, triples, drives in three
Rosario went 2-for-4 with a double, triple, three RBI and a run scored during Monday's win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Rosario's two-out, two-run triple in the first put the Rays on the board while his run-scoring double in the eighth provided the Rays with their final margin of victory. Rosario has found a regular role as the top utility man for Tampa, batting .296 with a .312 on-base percentage, six doubles, three triples, two homers, 18 RBI, 12 runs and five stolen bases over 138 plate appearances. • Blasts 10th homer
O'Neill went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during Monday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: O'Neill's first-inning three-run blast provided all the scoring for the Red Sox on Monday. It was the first homer since April 27 for the slumping O'Neill, who hit .333 with nine homers over his first 19 games, but had gone just 7-for-44 (.159) with six walks and 22 strikeouts over the most recent 12 game homer-less stretch prior to Monday. • Headed for MRI
Hoskins will undergo an MRI on his hamstring Tuesday morning, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Hoskins left Monday's series opener with a hamstring injury, but the severity of the issue remains unclear. Milwaukee should have a better idea of his availability going forward after reviewing Hoskins' test results. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:09 pm
