The shortstop still isn't hitting for a lot of power, but he's been able to make decent contact. For the season, he has a .276/.311/.439 slash line with two home runs, 11 RBI, 13 runs scored, a stolen base, eight doubles and a triple over 103 plate appearances. The utility man is slashing just .216/.287/.320 with three homers, eight RBI, seven runs scored and no stolen bases over 108 plate appearances this season. Hernandez has started five straight games at third base since Max Muncy (oblique) exited the lineup, so it appears Hernandez has a path to steady playing time for now.     Henderson went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Cardinals.

    Advice: Henderson has homered in four straight games and continues to lead the majors with 16 long balls. The shortstop's sixth-inning blast off Sonny Gray was all the runs the Orioles could muster Monday. Henderson stumbled a bit in the middle of May, but he's quickly returned to form and is now sporting a .271/.351/.610 slash line with 34 RBI, 35 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 45 contests.     Advice: The second steal saw him jam his left hand into second base, leaving him with an injured middle finger in spite of the oven mitt he was wearing.     Gunnar Henderson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run against the Cardinals on Monday.

    Advice: Henderson accounted for all the Orioles’ runs on the night. He blasted his league-leading 16th home run in the sixth inning off Sonny Gray, who hadn’t allowed a single hit at that point in the game. It's a promising development for the rookie, who batted .306 across two levels in the minors last season. It can take young players some time to translate minor-league production into MLB success, but it seems like Keith is starting to turn the corner, and he has the talent to finish his debut campaign on a high note.
