    • Contributes RBI, steal in loss
Polanco went 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a stolen base in a loss to the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Polanco came through with a clutch knock against his former team in the seventh inning, plating Luke Raley to knot the score at 3-3. The veteran infielder, who's now hit safely in four straight, also added his second steal of the campaign, but he couldn't capitalize on another RBI opportunity in the ninth when he left the bases loaded on a game-ending flyout. • Records 17th steal Sunday
Rodriguez went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in a loss to the Twins on Sunday.

Advice: Rodriguez's hit was only his second in the last 31 plate appearances, a seven-game span where the talented outfielder has generated an anemic .069 average and .198 OPS. The multi-game skid has temporarily erased a lot of the progress Rodriguez had made after a slow start to the season, as his slash line has dropped to a middling .247/.297/.327. However, there are underlying metrics that suggest Rodriguez is running into some tough luck as well -- he owns an expected batting average and slugging percentage of .272 and .434, respectively, and he's also boasting a career-best 21.7 percent line-drive rate. • Nabs two hits, steals bag Sunday
Moniak went 2-for-4 with a run and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Moniak was hitless with nine strikeouts over 13 at-bats across his previous four games coming into Sunday but got back on track with a pair of singles. The outfielder also recorded his fifth stolen base of the season and his first since June 9. Moniak finished June with a .237/.310/.408 slash line, two homers, 14 RBI, 10 runs and three steals over 24 games. Rotowire.com Today, 9:31 am
    • Sitting out third straight
Loperfido is out of the lineup for Monday's contest in Toronto, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Loperfido was in the lineup for six straight games upon being recalled from Triple-A Sugar Land on June 21, but he's now began three consecutive contests on the bench. After picking up three hits in the first of those starts, Loperfido has gone just 2-for-16 at the dish since. Chas McCormick and Trey Cabbage will patrol the corner outfield spots for the Astros on Monday. Rotowire.com Today, 9:28 am
    • Hits late homer Sunday
Adell went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Tigers on Sunday.

Advice: The Angels were down 7-1 heading into the ninth frame before mounting a rally that fell just short. Adell brought the team to within one run with his two-out, two-run blast in the inning. The long ball snapped a 15-game homerless drought for the outfielder, and he had struggled mightily during that stretch, slashing .111/.180/.156. Despite the recent cold stretch, Adell has hung onto a near-everyday role, as he's started in right field in six of the Angels' past seven games. Rotowire.com Today, 9:26 am
    • Joey Loperfido out of the lineup again
Joey Loperfido is on the bench for the third straight game for the Astros.

Advice: The Astros have faced right-handed pitchers in each of the last three games, and Loperfido has been on the bench for each one, which is not a good sign for his playing time going forward. Trey Cabbage is starting in right field for the second straight day and perhaps surpassing Loperfido on the depth chart. Rotoworld Today, 9:24 am
    • Jose Altuve gets an off day on Monday
Jose Altuve is not in the Astros lineup on Monday.

Advice: It’s a routine day off for Altuve, who was tremendous in June. Mauricio Dubon will play second base for the Astros on Monday against the Blue Jays, which will allow Chas McCormick to come back in the lineup in left field Rotoworld Today, 9:22 am

    • Rare day off Monday
Altuve is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Toronto, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Advice: Altuve was ejected following the seventh inning of Sunday's 10-5 win over the Mets in 11 innings for arguing with the umpire that he fouled a ball off his foot, and he'll now receive some additional rest in what will be just his third day out of the lineup all season. Mauricio Dubon will cover second base Monday while Altuve sits in the series opener. Rotowire.com Today, 9:22 am

    • Nabs fourth steal Sunday
Butler went 1-for-2 with a stolen base in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Advice: Butler snapped a brief 0-for-6 skid that had encompassed his last three games, and the steal was his first of the rookie's current big-league stint. Despite Sunday's modest success, Butler hasn't been much better at the plate than he was during his initial tenure with the Athletics from Opening Day through May 13 -- he's carrying a .179 average, .422 OPS and 34.5 percent strikeout rate across the 29 plate appearances he's logged since returning June 18.
