      Reds manager David Bell said Wednesday that Candelario is dealing with knee tendinitis that is "progressively not getting better" and "maybe a bit worse," Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Candelario -- who is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Pirates -- was removed from a game last week with the knee issue, and it has continued to nag at him. Bell noted that Candelario is still able to play but added that the infielder will be re-evaluated later Wednesday as the club decides how to best handle the situation. With Noelvi Marte looking likely to return from an 80-game suspension Thursday to provide the club another option at third base, it's possible the Reds will choose to put Candelario on the injured list if they determine his knee would improve with some extended rest.       Advice: Abrams has rattled off three hits in four of his last five games, and he's added three steals, three RBI and eight runs scored in that span. The shortstop's sizzling stretch has him up to a .283/.335/.507 slash line through 71 contests. His .842 OPS is his highest mark since May 12.       Advice: It’s too bad this netted Abrams only one run and one RBI, even though the Nationals scored seven times. Unfortunately, the play from Abrams in this game that everyone will see was him being thrown out after lazily going back to first base following a single. He was also picked off first base in the game. He later appeared to have a stolen base, only to wind up getting sent back to first base because the umpire interfered with the catcher’s throw.       Henderson went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored in a 10-8 loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

      Advice: Henderson hit a two-run home run in the first inning then walked and scored in the third. He later singled and scored in the seventh frame and added another walk in the eighth. Henderson registered his seventh-multi hit game in June and is now slashing .333/.436/.667 with seven home runs and 14 RBI this month.
