    • Secures first career win
Miller (1-0) struck out two in a perfect inning to earn the win Friday over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The win was Miller's first in the majors, which came in his 32nd career appearance. He kept the game tied at 1-1 in the top of the ninth inning before JJ Bleday swatted a walk-off solo home run in the Athletics' half of the frame. While Miller's been scored on in three of his last six outings, he's still sporting a 2.20 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 54:11 K:BB through 28.2 innings this season. He's also gone 12-for-13 in save chances for a team that hasn't had a ton of leads to protect. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

    • Report: Astros call up Loperfido to replace Tucker
Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports that the Astros will call up Joey Loperfido from Triple-A Sugar Land prior to Saturday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Loperfido will replace Kyle Tucker, as Tucker was placed on the injured list prior to Friday’s game versus the Halos due to a shin contusion. Loperfido is considered one of the better hitting prospects in the Houston system, and he more than held his own in his previous stint with the Astros with a slash of .333/.381/.436 over 14 games. He’s certainly worthy of consideration for fantasy players. Rotoworld 23 minutes ago

    • Delivers walk-off blast
Bleday went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 2-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Bleday's blast was the Athletics' fifth hit of the game, but it was enough to earn a walk-off win. The outfielder is batting .294 (10-for-34) over his last nine contests, but this was his first homer since May 24. For the season, he's at a .246/.328/.469 slash line with nine long balls, 23 RBI, 26 runs scored, 18 doubles, three triples and no stolen bases over 65 games. Rotowire.com 24 minutes ago

    • Strong in no-decision
Harris allowed three hits and two walks while striking out three over six scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Blue Jays on Friday.

Advice: Harris did well in his second start of the season, which ended up being a pitching duel against Toronto's Chris Bassitt. Harris previous allowed three runs (one earned) and struck out seven over 5.2 innings versus the Rays last Thursday. He's at a 2.21 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 18:8 K:BB through 20.1 innings over four appearances (two starts) this season. The southpaw looks to have done enough to maintain his spot in the rotation for a road start versus the Padres next week. Harris will likely continue to operate as a starter while the Athletics are missing both Ross Stripling (elbow) and Alex Wood (shoulder). Rotowire.com 27 minutes ago

    • Pops homer, scores three times
Sheets went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, three runs scored and two walks in Friday's win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Sheets walked and scored in the fourth and eighth innings Friday, sandwiched around his solo shot in the sixth. He was recently stuck in a 33-game skid without a home run but he's gone deep three times over his last 10 games. He bumped his season slash line up to .235/.341/.417 with 21 extra-base hits and 19 runs scored through 220 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 59 minutes ago

    • Goes deep in win
Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two runs scored in Friday's win over Boston.

Advice: Vaughn singled and scored in the fourth inning before knocking a solo blast in the sixth. After a 36-game homerless drought to begin the year, he's gone deep six times over his last 22 appearances, including two straight games. During that span, he's boosted his season OPS from .507 to .633 through 237 total plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 8:53 pm

    • Falls to 3-3
Criswell (3-3) yielded four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk over 4.1 innings Friday, striking out two and taking a loss against the White Sox.

Advice: Criswell gave up one run through three frames before the White Sox plated three runs in the fourth inning. It was the third time in his last five outings that he's failed to complete at least five innings. During that stretch, he's posted a 6.45 ERA, driving his season number up to 4.13. Criswell is currently in line for a home matchup against the Yankees next week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:50 pm

    • Punches out 10 in win
Crochet (5-4) yielded two runs (one earned) on three hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out 10 and earning a win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Crochet gave up a pair of runs in the third inning but only one was earned due to his own throwing error. He's produced quality starts in four straight appearances and six of his last seven. Crochet generated 17 whiffs and racked up double-digit strikeouts for the fourth time this season. Since April 29, he's produced a ridiculous 1.37 ERA with a 63:9 K:BB in eight starts. Crochet will carry a 3.33 ERA into his next start, which is expected to be in Seattle next week. • Earns save Friday
Cannon allowed three hits over three scoreless innings Friday, striking out four and picking up a save against Boston.

Advice: Cannon entered the game with a 6-2 lead and threw 41 of 60 pitches for strikes on his way to earning his first MLB save. He was promoted from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday and made his first big-league appearance out of the bullpen after starting three games for the White Sox in April. Cannon was expected to be a back-end rotation piece after the promotion but he could be used in more of a long relief role for the time being. He owns a 5.94 ERA with a 17:4 K:BB through 16.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 8:39 pm
