      Advice: Donovan has been dialed in for much of June. He's hit safely in 17 of his last 18 games, going 26-for-71 (.366) with seven extra-base hits and 14 RBI in that span. The 27-year-old is up to a .269/.333/.420 slash line with eight home runs, 39 RBI, 35 runs scored, 17 doubles, one triple and one stolen base over 72 contests.       Padres placed OF Fernando Tatis Jr. on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to June 22, with a right femoral stress reaction.

      Advice: That’s better than a stress fracture, but it’s not great. The Padres will likely go to Bryce Johnson in right field most days, but he’s not going to replace Tatis’s production.       The Padres placed Tatis on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to June 22, due to a right femoral stress reaction in his quadriceps.

      Advice: Tatis missed the last two games with a triceps injury after being hit in the left arm by a pitch Friday, and he will now be sidelined with a separate quadriceps injury. His stint on the IL would line up with a return in early July, but it's possible the 25-year-old will be held out longer than that until perhaps after the All-Star break, per Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune.
