      Nick Gonzales went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in a win over the Reds on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was a much-needed strong game for Gonzales, who came into today hitting just .224 in 20 games in June. The 25-year-old is still barreling the ball 11 percent in 2024 but his groundball rate has gone up to 52 percent in June and he’s pulling the ball more, which has led to more rollover groundballs and fewer line drives all over the field.       Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games.       Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

      Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning.       Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career, and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers, 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases.     • Brice Turang slugs grand slam in loss to Padres
      Brice Turang singled twice, drew a walk and belted a grand slam on Saturday night as the Brewers were thwarted by the Padres in San Diego.

      Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk but was gunned down by Kyle Higashioka while attempting to steal second base. Then he singled to center in the third inning and was once again cut down trying to nab second base. Turang had been caught stealing just twice all season entering play on Saturday. Then he prevented a shutout with a two-out grand slam off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning that pulled the Brewers to within two runs at 6-4.       Advice: Morel hit an RBI single in the first inning and crushed a 446-foot solo home run in the third. Morel's .209 average so far in June is actually his highest in any month this season, and the homer was his fourth in 19 June games.
