      Advice: As anticipated, Harrison will bypass a rehab assignment and step right back into the San Francisco rotation after having missed just under a month with a right ankle sprain. During his absence, Harrison has been able to build his arm back up through bullpen sessions and live batting practice sessions, so he likely won't face any major restrictions in his first start since June 10.       Eflin (5-5) picked up the win over the Royals on Thursday, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and one walk over five innings while striking out three.

      Advice: Eflin didn't have his best stuff Thursday, surrendering at least one run in four of the six innings in which he appeared. Despite those struggles, the veteran right-hander was able to secure his fifth win of the season and the fourth win in his last five decisions (spanning nine starts). Eflin has now gone at least five innings in five consecutive starts, though he's given up multiple runs in four of those outings, raising his ERA to 4.19 on the season.     • Eflin picks up fifth win against Royals Thursday
      Zach Eflin allowed six runs (five earned) in five innings and got the win in the Rays’ 10-8 victory over the Royals on Thursday.



      Advice: Eflin gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out three. The win was his fifth of the season. The Royals started scoring with a Michael Massey solo home run in the second inning. Kansas City scored twice in the third inning on a Bobby Witt Jr. sacrifice fly and RBI single by Vinnie Pasquantino. Pasquantino had an RBI groundout in the fifth inning. The sixth inning started with a Richie Palacious error which allowed Michael Massey to reach and Hunter Renfroe chased Eflin with an RBI single. Renfroe ended up scoring later in the inning with the run charged to Eflin. This season has been a nightmare for Eflin drafters as he hasn’t come close to repeating the career year he had last year. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Yankees on the road next week.

    • Goes seven innings in win
      Webb (7-6) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings to earn the win over Atlanta on Thursday.

      Advice: Webb gave up both runs on three hits and a sacrifice fly in the first inning, then settled in to produce a strong start by not allowing a runner past second base for the next six frames. He's gone seven innings in six of his last eight starts as he continues to be an innings-eater at the top of the Giants' rotation. For the season, Webb has a 3.09 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 103:27 K:BB over 119.1 innings through 19 starts. The right-hander is projected to make his next start at home versus the Blue Jays.       Logan Webb allowed two runs in seven innings and got the win in the Giants’ 4-2 victory over the Braves on Thursday.



      Advice: Webb gave up seven hits, walked one and struck out six. The win was his seventh of the year. Webb gave up an RBI double to Ozzie Albies in the first inning and Albies later scored on an Austin Riley sacrifice fly to make it 2-0 Braves. Then he held Atlanta scoreless for the next six innings. Webb has gone seven innings and allowed two runs in four of his last six starts. He’s been one of the most consistent pitchers in fantasy this year and has a 3.09 ERA. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Blue Jays at home next week.

    • Suffers ugly loss Thursday
      Maeda (2-5) allowed nine runs on nine hits across 3.2 innings to take the loss Thursday against the Twins. He walked three and struck out three.

      Advice: It was another ugly performance for Maeda, who saw his season ERA climb to 6.71. Outside of a clean first inning, the veteran allowed multiple runs to score in each of his other frames. Maeda had a decent 2023 campaign for these same Twins, posting a 4.23 ERA and 1.17 WHIP across 104.1 innings, but he hasn't carried that over into his first season in Detroit.       Garver went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Orioles.

      Advice: Garver didn't start Tuesday or Wednesday due to a sore wrist. He played in a non-defensive capacity Thursday and lifted a seventh-inning homer as the designated hitter while batting second in the lineup -- the highest spot he's hit all year. The 33-year-old struggled with a .187 batting average in June, though he slugged .453 with five homers, five doubles and 17 RBI.       Mitch Garver blasted a two-run homer on Thursday against the Orioles in his return to the lineup.

      Advice: We’re going to safely assume that Garver’s right wrist is feeling better after watching him sock a no-doubter to left-center field off Orioles reliever Keegan Akin in the seventh inning of this one. It was his 11th big fly of the season and third time he’s gone deep in eight games since June 24. The 33-year-old veteran backstop was back in Seattle’s lineup at designated hitter on Thursday after missing a pair of games earlier this week due to a right wrist contusion that he suffered when he was hit by a pitch last weekend.
