    • Bo Bichette goes 0-for-4, fans three times
Bo Bichette went 0-for-4 and struck out three times Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: The last strikeout was utter garbage, as Bichette saw six straight balls from Luke Jackson and swung at only one of them. Still, two others were called strikes anyway. Bichette has fanned 14 times in his last eight games, which seems like a particularly bad trend for a guy who isn’t hitting the ball very hard when he makes contact. Tonight’s performance pushed his OPS below .600 for the first time since mid-May. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:36 pm

    • Nabs steal Tuesday
Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and one stolen base in Tuesday's 12-2 loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Yelich has gone 18-for-46 (.391) with five steals and eight extra-base hits over his last 12 contests. The outfielder is up to 20 thefts this season, the second year in a row and fifth campaign overall where he's reached that milestone. He's added a spectacular .331/.412/.532 slash line with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, 42 runs scored, 11 doubles and three triples across 66 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm
    • Christian Yelich on base three times for Brewers
Christian Yelich went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base on Tuesday against the Pirates.

Advice: This was a game to forget for the Brewers as they lost by 10 runs and didn’t score after the second inning. Still, Yelich continued his sensational season as his .331 batting average would lead the National League if he were qualified. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:56 pm
    • Keibert Ruiz hits long home run in loss
Keibert Ruiz went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer on Tuesday against the Mets.

Advice: The Nationals offense came alive late against the Mets bullpen after being stifled for seven innings by Jose Quintana and Ruiz made this a game with his ninth inning blast. Overall, it’s been a disappointing season for Ruiz who’s sporting just a .599 OPS as we approach the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:01 pm

    • Jorge Soler scratched Tuesday due to illness
Jorge Soler was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays due to illness.

Advice: Giants general manager Farhan Zaidi told reporters Soler was feeling under the weather, which led to his removal from the lineup, despite the presence of lefty Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for Toronto on Tuesday night. It’ll be Thairo Estrada moving to designated hitter with Brett Wisely entering the lineup at second base. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:18 pm

    • Scratched from lineup
Soler was scratched from the Giants' lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus Toronto due to an illness, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Soler may still be available off the bench Tuesday, but his sickness will ensure he begins the game in the dugout. In his absence, Thairo Estrada will move into the DH spot while Brett Wisely starts at second base, batting ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:07 pm

    • Bryan Woo (hamstring) starting this week vs. Halos
Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters Bryan Woo (hamstring) will start this week against the Angels.

Advice: Servais declined to specify which of the upcoming four-game set against the Angels to close out the first half will go to Woo, but it sounds like he’s a virtual lock to return this week. The 24-year-old righty has been on the shelf since late June due to a right hamstring strain. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:57 pm

    • Returning over weekend
Manager Scott Servais said Tuesday that Woo (hamstring) will return from the injured list during Seattle's upcoming series against the Angels, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Servais didn't specify exactly what day Woo will return to start, though his turn in the rotation would come up Friday. The 24-year-old had been dominant in eight starts prior to landing on the IL with a strained hamstring, posting a 1.77 ERA and 0.69 WHIP in 40.2 innings. However, he threw just 45 pitches in 2.2 frames during his lone rehab start Saturday, so Woo will most likely be working under a relatively low pitch count in his return to a major-league mound. • Extremely efficient versus Yankees
Crawford (5-7) earned the win Sunday against the Yankees after tossing seven shutout innings while allowing just four hits. He struck out four.

Advice: Crawford was incredibly efficient Sunday night, needing just 68 pitches to coast through seven frames while throwing 54 strikes. Crawford's never pitched into the eighth before, and while he certainly could've based on pitch count, manager Alex Cora decided to turn to the bullpen for the final six outs. Crawford contributed to shutting out the Yankees offense for the first time since April and now owns an 11:0 K:BB over his last 13 innings after back-to-back starts without issuing a walk. The 28-year-old now owns a 3.24 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 106:28 K:BB in 105.2 innings and will look to finish out the first half strong as he prepares to face the Royals at home in a weekend series.
