    • Still limited to small-side platoon
McCormick went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: McCormick was in the lineup because Houston was facing lefty Garret Crochet, though he remains on the small-side of a platoon with Trey Cabbage. As a result, McCormick has started only six of the team's last 10 games, during which he's hit .250 with one home run, five RBI and five runs scored. Rotowire.com Today, 6:57 am
    • Trea Turner gets scheduled rest versus Padres
The Phillies said Trea Turner is getting a planned day off Wednesday after starting his first two games back from the IL.

Advice: That’s as expected, but the confirmation is nice. Edmundo Sosa is playing shortstop for the Phillies today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:46 am
    • Getting rest Wednesday
Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Turner's absence for Wednesday's day game is likely part of a predetermined maintenance plan for the veteran shortstop, who returned from a six-week stay on the 10-day injured list Monday. The 30-year-old exhibited no apparent signs of being nagged by his left hamstring while starting Monday and Tuesday and going 3-for-10 with a run scored between those contests. Edmundo Sosa will spell Turner at shortstop in the series finale versus San Diego. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:45 am
    • Reaches three times in win
Bellinger went 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Giants.

Advice: It was a solid all-around effort for Bellinger, who snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over the previous two games. Overall, the 28-year-old is slashing a respectable .264/.323/.435, though those numbers are down across the board from his stellar 2023 campaign. Bellinger still has plenty of time to heat up, however, and should remain locked into fantasy lineups. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:32 am

    • Trea Turner takes seat Wednesday
After starting at shortstop in his first two games back from the IL, Trea Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday’s matinee.

Advice: No official word yet, but this is probably a planned day off for Turner after he returned from his hamstring strain without a rehab assignment. He went 4-for-7 the last two days. Edmundo Sosa is playing shortstop today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:29 am
    • Homers again Tuesday
Schwarber went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-3 win over San Diego.

Advice: Schwarber cut the Phillies' lead to 3-2 in the bottom of the eighth inning, launching a solo shot off Wandy Peralta. It's Schwarber's 17th homer this season and his third in his last two games. He's boosted his slash line to .257/.377/.468 with 48 RBI, 53 runs scored and four steals across 329 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:25 am
    • On fire in June
Vaughn went 1-for-4 with two RBI on Tuesday against the Astros.

Advice: Vaughn grounded into a pair of fielder's choice outs to tally his two RBI. Though it wasn't a particularly notable performance, he now has five home runs, 14 RBI and 12 runs scored across 14 games in June while also hitting .356. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:53 pm
    • Four hits in walk-off win
Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: Castellanos capped Philadelphia's comeback victory in the bottom of the ninth inning, poking a ground-rule double down the right-field line, his second double and fourth hit of the game, to drive in Alec Bohm with the winning run. Castellanos is now 6-for-9 with four doubles in his last two games after going 0-for-14 in his previous three contests. Overall, he's slashing .219/.275/.371 on the year with nine homers, 31 RBI and 37 runs scored across 306 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:41 pm
    • Castellanos has big game-winning hit
Nick Castellanos went 4-for-5 with a game-winning double in a 4-3 win over the Padres on Tuesday.

Advice: Castellanos came to the plate in a tie game in the ninth inning and blooped in a 78 mph double just beyond a sliding Fernando Tatis Jr. in right field. It was a much-needed big game for the veteran, who was hitting .203 in 14 games in June and is now hitting just .219 overall on the season. Castellanos is making more contact and striking out less this season, but he’s making less authoritative contact and really struggling to hit anything other than fastballs with a .134 AVG and .208 wOBA against off-speed pitches. He’ll continue to play regularly and hit in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup, but there aren’t many signs of a full-on bounceback here. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:54 pm
