    • Goes yard again versus Texas
Nimmo went 1-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: The veteran outfielder took Michael Lorenzen deep in the sixth inning, helping the Mets roar back from an early 6-2 deficit. Nimmo has gone yard in back-to-back games, and he's slashing .328/.381/.517 over 14 contests in June as he climbs out of an early-season hole. Despite the surge, his .766 OPS so far in 2024 would be Nimmo's lowest mark since his 32-game big-league debut in 2016. Rotowire.com 28 minutes ago
    • Day off Wednesday
Cronenworth is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game in Philadelphia.

Advice: Cronenworth will get his first day off in more than a month as the Padres and Phillies conclude their series with a day game after a night game. Tyler Wade will fill in at second base while Cronenworth gets some rest. Rotowire.com Today, 7:18 am

    • Secures save Tuesday
Miller struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Miller took a blown save in his last outing, though it was because he allowed an inherited runner to score. He's struggled a bit lately, allowing nine runs (six earned) with a 16:7 K:BB across 12.1 innings over his last 10 appearances. He's still performing quite well in the closer role for the Athletics, pitching to a 2.20 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 57:12 K:BB over 32.2 innings while going 13-for-15 in save chances this year. • Mason Miller perfect in ninth for 13th save
Mason Miller recorded his 13th save with a scoreless ninth against the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Miller had it easy tonight, getting one strikeout and a pair of routine flies. He’s had some hiccups of late, but he remains about as good of a bet as any reliever from an ERA and strikeout perspective. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:55 pm

    • Posts five-out save
Munoz earned the save Tuesday in an 8-5 win over Cleveland, allowing one hit while striking out one over 1.2 innings.

Advice: The Mariners turned to Munoz after Trent Thornton loaded the bases in the eighth. Munoz would proceed to coax a pair of groundouts to get out of the inning before turning in a scoreless ninth, earning his 13th save of the campaign and his third of four or more outs. The 25-year-old Munoz lowered his ERA to a pristine 1.47 this season with a 0.95 WHIP and 42:10 K:BB across 30.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz locks down save in win
Andrés Muñoz pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings to lock down the Mariners’ 8-5 win over the Guardians on Tuesday.

Advice: The Mariners brought Muñoz in with the bases loaded with one out in the eighth inning and the Mariners up by four runs. He got a groundout which allowed one run to score but then induced another groundout to end the threat. The 25-year-old has battled through back injuries all season but still has a 1.47 ERA and now has 13 saves. The biggest threat to his value appears to simply be that the Mariners have no problem bringing him in before the ninth inning which will sometimes prevent him from earning saves. • Considered day-to-day
Manager Brandon Hyde said that Westburg was diagnosed with a bruised left hip following Tuesday's loss to the Yankees, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Advice: Westburg collided with Juan Soto during the first inning of Tuesday's contest and eventually had to leave the game in the second. He appears to have avoided any significant damage, and it's possible he could return to Baltimore's lineup Wednesday without missing any games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:30 pm

    • Jordan Westburg day-to-day with hip soreness
Jordan Westburg is day-to-day with left hip soreness.

Advice: Orioles manager Brandon Hyde told reporters following Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees that Westburg is pretty sore, but it doesn’t sound like he suffered a significant injury when he collided at an awkward angle with Juan Soto during the opening frame of the contest, which led to his early exit. The 25-year-old infielder will likely sit out a couple games moving forward, but it doesn’t appear that he’s headed to the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Jordan Westburg leaves game with hip discomfort
Jordan Westburg was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Yankees with left hip discomfort.

Advice: Westburg collided awkwardly with Yankees slugger Juan Soto while fielding a first-inning grounder at third base and was lifted from the contest in the ensuing frame. It sounds like his early exit was merely for precautionary reasons, but he’ll presumably undergo some additional testing to rule out anything serious. The 25-year-old holds an .836 OPS with 11 homers and six steals in 275 plate appearances this season. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:19 pm
