• Out against righty again
Olivares is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Olivares will sit against a right-handed pitcher (Chris Bassitt) for a third consecutive matchup. He looked to have moved into a full-time role following Jack Suwinski's demotion to Triple-A Indianapolis on May 23, but Olivares appears to be stuck in a short-side platoon role while the lefty-hitting Rowdy Tellez has regained playing time versus right-handed pitching. • Goes deep Saturday
Santander went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

Advice: Santander has started to look more like himself, going 9-for-32 (.281) with three homers over his last nine contests. For the year, he's slashing .218/.300/.440 with 10 homers, 30 RBI, 29 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases. Santander has been plagued by a .224 BABIP this year, so it's no surprise his overall numbers are down, but it's a reason for optimism that he'll be able to turn things around. • Homers in return
Westburg went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Rays.

Advice: Westburg was out of the lineup for two games with a hand injury, but it didn't seem to be bothering him in Saturday's win. He's gone 10-for-22 (.455) with two homers and seven RBI over his last six games, posting three multi-hit efforts in that span. The infielder continues to hit well despite often being in the bottom half of the order. He's slashing .295/.354/.523 with nine homers, 36 RBI, 30 runs scored, five stolen bases, 11 doubles and three triples over 52 games this season. Rotowire.com 8 minutes ago

  • Not yet doing baseball activities
Adrianza (back) had not yet resumed baseball activities as of May 28, per MLB.com.

Advice: Adrianza has been out of action since early May due to back spasms. He had an injection May 16 and has been rehabbing, but his inability so far to return to baseball activities suggests that his return isn't imminent. Rotowire.com 10 minutes ago

  • Reclaiming playing time at first base
Soderstrom will start at first base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Soderstrom has now started in three of Oakland's last four matchups with right-handed pitchers and appears to have displaced J.D. Davis as the Athletics' preferred option at the position. Soderstrom is still likely to occupy the strong side of a platoon at first base with either Davis or Aledmys Diaz. • Getting rest Sunday
Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Advice: Langeliers looks to be receiving some routine maintenance Sunday after he caught all nine innings of Saturday's 11-9 win while going 1-for-5 with a run scored. Kyle McCann will get the nod behind the plate in the series finale. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago
  • Nick Madrigal sent to Triple-A by Cubs
Cubs optioned INF Nick Madrigal to Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: Madrigal, 27, will head back to Triple-A with David Bote taking his place on the roster. The former top prospect has once again not been effective at the plate with a .221/.280/.256 slash line in 94 plate appearances thus far. He’ll likely be back on the roster at some point this summer, but fantasy managers can ignore him in all formats. Bummer. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago

  • Staying on bench Sunday
Refsnyder is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers.

Advice: Refsnyder will be on the bench for a second straight game following a stretch of five consecutive starts. Though he's maintaining an excellent .333/.414/.517 slash line over 99 plate appearances on the season, Refsnyder still isn't being treated as an everyday player, at least against right-handed pitching. The Red Sox may continue to rotate a number of players at the designated-hitter spot against righties, with Garrett Cooper picking up the assignment Sunday. Rotowire.com 21 minutes ago

  • Report: Royce Lewis likely back off IL Tuesday
Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports that Royce Lewis (quad) is likely to be activated off the injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Lewis is going to play third base Sunday during his rehab assignment for Triple-A St. Paul. The 24-year-old will then have a chance to return to the Minnesota lineup as long as everything goes well in that outing. Lewis has significant fantasy upside, and if he’s still on the waiver wire in fantasy leagues, he’s well worth roster consideration. Just keep in mind that injuries have been a major part of his storyline the last few seasons. Rotoworld 24 minutes ago
