    • Morton hit hard in loss against the Nationals Monday
Charlie Morton allowed eight runs in 5 ⅔ innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Monday.

Advice: Morton allowed 12 hits, walked two and struck out seven. Despite allowing four runs in the first inning, the Braves let Morton work through it and the Nationals offense didn’t let up as he had his worst start of the season. His ERA increased from 3.35 to 4.29. The 40-year-old right-hander will look to turn the page in his next start against the Athletics at home this weekend.

    • Austin Riley back in the lineup on Monday
Austin Riley (side) is back in the lineup for Monday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: Riley missed 13 straight games with a side injury, but the Braves opted not to put him on the IL. With Ronald Acuna Jr. now out for the season, the Braves are certainly ecstatic to bring Riley back into the fold. Riley is hitting second in the lineup without Acuna there, as Ozzie Albies hits lead-off. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:18 am

    • Returns after two-week absence
Riley (side) will start at third base and bat second in Monday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Riley wound up missing just over two weeks (and 13 games) of action with a nagging left intercostal strain but is finally ready to rejoin Atlanta's lineup. He will be asked to carry even more of a load following Ronald Acuna's season-ending ACL tear. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:12 am

    • Rehab to continue at Triple-A
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said Sunday that Lewis (quadricep) responded well to his first two minor-league rehab games, but the 24-year-old remains without a clear timeline to return from the 10-day injured list, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "But he's going to play this week, and we're going to see how he's doing," Baldelli said.

Advice: Lewis went 3-for-9 with a double, two runs and a stolen base over his two rehab games this weekend. The stolen base in particular was an encouraging sign that he's no longer slowed by his right quad strain, though the Twins have told him to play it safe and not attempt any more stolen bases during his rehab assignment. The Twins have been guarded about when Lewis may return, but given the team's need for offense, he may not need more than a week in the minors. Lewis may be limited to designated-hitter duties initially when he returns to limit the wear on his legs. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:34 pm

    • Wyatt Langford (hamstring) expected back Tuesday
Wyatt Langford (hamstring) is expected to return from the injured list on Tuesday.

Advice: Langford played in his third game on his minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday and isn’t expected to need any more at-bats before he’s ready to return to the Rangers’ lineup. Before landing on the shelf on May 6, the 22-year-old phenom was hitting .224/.295/.293 with one homer, 11 RBI and one stolen base over his first 31 games at the big league level. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:12 pm
    • Could be activated Tuesday
Langford (hamstring) will bat leadoff and start in left field for Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday in what could be his final rehab appearance before he returns from the 10-day injured list, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: The Rangers could use a spark in the lineup, and with Langford playing the field in back-to-back games, it would seem his hamstring is responding well. Texas is off Monday, so Langford's status may not be known until Tuesday's series opener versus the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:20 pm
    • Juan Soto plates run in loss to Padres
Juan Soto doubled, walked and drove in a run as the Yankees fell to the Padres on Sunday afternoon in San Diego.

Advice: The 25-year-old superstar broke a scoreless tie with a run-scoring double off of Joe Musgrove in the sixth inning. That would wind up being the Bombers’ only tally until the ninth inning. Soto is once again enjoying an outstanding all-around season at the plate — slashing a robust .310/.408/.571 with 14 homers, 44 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:10 pm

    • Jose Altuve has two hits, SB in win over A’s
Jose Altuve went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base in a win over the A’s on Sunday.

Advice: Not many people are talking about Altuve, but he’s having yet another solid year with a .296/.353/.468 triple slash to go along with nine home runs, 20 RBI, and eight steals. He’ll always provide solid run totals while hitting at the top of the Astros’ lineup and is one of the most reliable players in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:02 pm

    • Getting breather Sunday
Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Raleigh will receive some routine maintenance for Sunday's day game after he started behind the plate in both of the previous two days. Seby Zavala will get the nod at catcher in the series finale. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:14 am
