    • Miguel Andujar homers in win over Rays
Miguel Andujar went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a win over the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: Andujar took a sixth-inning offering from Zack Littell and hit it out of the park for a three-run shot at 106 mph off the bat. It was his first home run of the 2024 season, but the 29-year-old has been regularly hitting in the middle of the order for Oakland since coming off the IL and has gone 4-for-12 with five RBIs in three games. He’s a career .271 hitter who hasn’t quite delivered on his early-career promise, but perhaps he can get on the deep-league fantasy radar now that he seems to have a full-time job. • Zack Littell takes tough luck loss to A’s
Zack Littell allowed three runs (none earned) on five hits in seven innings in a loss to the Athletics on Tuesday.

Advice: Littell also struck out nine and walked just one. A Brandon Lowe fielding error got the sixth inning started, and after a walk, Littell was able to get two outs before giving up a three-run shot to Miguel Andujar. That was the difference in the game. The 28-year-old had a dominant performance from his splitter on Tuesday and rode it to a 31 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW overall. He’ll now take a 3.03 ERA into a showdown this weekend with the Orioles where he’ll be a risky option in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld 7 minutes ago

    • Punches out 10 in loss
Rodriguez (5-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Red Sox, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: Rodriguez got off to a rocky start Tuesday, allowing a pair of runs in each of the first two innings. The 24-year-old Rodriguez would settle in and hold Boston off the board over his final four frames while recording a career-high 10 strikeouts. However, the Orioles couldn't overcome the early deficit in the eventual 8-3 defeat. It's the first time since April 23 that Rodriguez has allowed more than two earned runs in a start -- he'd gone 2-0 with a 1.08 ERA in his previous three outings. Overall, he sports a 3.53 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP and 61:21 K:BB across 51 innings this season. Rodriguez's next start is currently scheduled for early next week in Toronto. • Mitch Spence shuts out Rays in win
Mitch Spence threw 5 1/3 shutout innings, allowing just one hit while striking out four in a win over the Rays.

Advice: This was just Spence’s third start of the season and the first time he’s thrown at least five innings this season. This feels like a bit of a best-case scenario for the 25-year-old, who had just six whiffs on 44 swings for a 14 percent whiff rate and 23 percent CSW. Spence relies heavily on a slider-cutter combination that he threw 80 percent of the time on Tuesday and kept the Rays from squaring anything up. Even though Spence has a 3.52 ERA on the season, he should not be started against the Braves this weekend. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago

    • Rafael Devers has four hits in win over Orioles
Rafael Devers went 4-for-5 with a triple and two RBI in an 8-3 win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: It was a solid day at the plate for Devers, who had two hits over 104 mph and is now hitting .295 with seven home runs and 19 RBI in 25 games in May. It’s safe to say that he’s rebounded nicely from his slow start to the year, and the counting stats should continue to climb when the Red Sox are able to get Tyler O’Neill, Triston Casas, and Masataka Yoshida back in the lineup around Devers. • Refsnyder has two hits, HR in win over Orioles
Rob Refsnyder went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Refsnyder had a 102.2 mph double off of Grayson Rodriguez in the first inning and then clobbered a 419-foot home run in the ninth that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was his second home run on the season, and he now has 13 RBI to go along with a .347/.437/.547 slash line in 87 plate appearances this season. With Tyler O’Neill visiting a specialist for his troublesome right knee, there is a chance that Refsnyder starts getting more regular at-bats for the Red Sox in the near future. • Jordan Westburg has two hits, two RBI in loss
Jordan Westburg went 2-for-3 with two singles and two RBI in a loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Westburg drove both runs in on a 103.7 mph single in the first inning. He now has 34 RBI to go along with a .291/.351/.508 slash line. While the 25-year-old has cooled down a bit from his torrid start to the season and is pulling the ball far less than he was in April, he continues to produce, hitting .278 with three home runs in 24 games in May. He’s proven himself as a fixture in this lineup. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Grayson Rodriguez stumbles early against Red Sox
Grayson Rodriguez allowed four runs on seven hits in six innings in a loss to the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: The Red Sox jumped on Rodriguez early, scoring four runs on five hits in the first two innings, but the 24-year-old responded with four shutout innings to end his day. He also struck out 10 batters and walked just one on the day while posting a 38 percent whiff rate and 40 percent CSW. It mostly came down to location with Rodriguez on Tuesday. The pitches the Red Sox hit hard were either pitches that Rodriguez missed his spots on or pitches early in the count that he was simply trying to throw over the plate. He now has a 3.53 ERA and will look to get back on track next week against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld 17 minutes ago

    • Brayan Bello strikes out seven in win over Orioles
Brayan Bello allowed three runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: The right-hander struck out seven and walked two on the evening. Bello had a rough first inning, allowing all three runs on three hits, but he bounced back exceptionally well and had his entire arsenal working, registering a 38 percent whiff rate and 37 percent CSW. Bello’s changeup was particularly effective on Tuesday, getting 10 whiffs on 21 swings, but he also had a 38 percent whiff rate on his slider which will be a big pitch for him if he wants to take the next step in his development. Overall, it was a strong showing for the 25-year-old, and he’ll now take a 4.18 ERA into a showdown with the Tigers this weekend. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
