      Freddy Peralta allowed one earned run and three hits over 5 2/3 innings while striking out 11 in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs.

      Advice: Peralta was solid in this one, striking out 11 batters while allowing just five total base runners. A solo homer by Michael Busch in the third inning was his lone blemish on the night, as Peralta largely held the Cubs in check. He was bailed out of a loss thanks to a two-out RBI single by Willy Adames in the ninth and is now sporting a 3.61 ERA and 1.06 WHIP through 11 games.       Advice: Lewis went 0-for-3 at the dish and made his first appearance in the field since kicking off a minor league rehab assignment last week. The 24-year-old third baseman will presumably require at least a handful of additional tune-up contests to get back up to speed before returning to Minnesota.       The Rangers activated Langford (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: The 22-year-old has been on the shelf more than three weeks due to a hamstring injury but will rejoin the Rangers after a three-game rehab stint with Triple-A Round Rock. The 22-year-old top prospect hasn’t exactly set the fantasy landscape ablaze following a sizzling-hot spring training performance, batting .224/.295/.293 with one homer, 11 RBI and one steal in 129 plate appearances over 31 contests.
