    The Rockies have halted the rehab assignment in Triple-A Albuquerque for Jones (back) because of right knee soreness sustained on a slide, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: A MRI came back clean for Jones, but he will rest a few days before getting back on the field. The outfielder was placed on the 10-day injured list April 30 with a low-back strain. He was then able to kick off his rehab assignment May 15. It seemed like the 26-year-old was nearing a return and was expected to be recalled after Sunday's game with Triple-A Albuquerque, but the injury on the slide has postponed that. There's been no report of an aggravation of the injury to explain why Diaz was in the game for such a brief time Saturday, and he was then out of the lineup Sunday before the team's off day Monday. The Aviators also saw their scheduled game against Triple-A Tacoma on Tuesday postponed due to rain, so Diaz will have had some extra rest if he does return to the lineup for the Aviators on Wednesday.
