    • Good to go Sunday
Gurriel (illness) will start in left field and bat third Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: The veteran outfielder was scratched from Saturday's lineup due to flu-like symptoms, but he's back in the starting nine for Sunday's series finale in Queens. Gurriel had a rough time at the plate in May and finished the month with a .213/.245/.287 slash line in 25 games. Rotowire.com Today, 6:48 am
    • Two hits, two RBI in win
Langford went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in a 7-0 win against the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Langford singled and scored a run in the fourth inning then added a two-run base hit in the ninth. In four games since returning from the injured list with a hamstring strain, Langford has posted two multi-hit efforts and totaled four RBI. Langford's current slash line of .229/.292/.290 has been disappointing, but he appears healthy and has started each game since his return from the injured list May 28. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:50 pm
    • Wyatt Langford drives in pair against Marlins
Wyatt Langford drove in two runs in a victory over the Marlins for the Rangers on Saturday.

Advice: Langford’s RBI came in garbage time, as he drove in a pair of runs to make it 7-0 in the ninth inning. Still counts. He also struck out three times, but since returning from the injured list Tuesday, Langford has picked up a pair of multi-hit games while driving in three runs. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:09 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. has three hits, HR in victory
Fernando Tatis Jr. homered and went 3-for-4 in a 7-3 win for the Padres over the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. got the party started for the Padres with a solo homer in the first inning off Alec Marsh. The 25-year-old also singled twice and drew a walk for a four-reach day. Tatis hasn’t been spectacular in the first 60-plus games of the season, but he’s up to 10 homers, 30 RBI and six stolen bases with a .772 OPS. It’d be surprising if those number didn’t shoot up over the next few months, if not weeks. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:52 pm
    • Three hits, homer vs. Royals
Tatis went 3-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over Kansas City.

Advice: Tatis opened the scoring in the first inning with a 422-foot solo shot off Alec Marsh, his 10th homer of the season. The 25-year-old Tatis has at least one hit in his last seven games, going 11-for-29 (.379) in that span. He's now slashing .261/.340/.433 with 38 runs scored, 30 RBI and six stolen bases across 268 plate appearances this year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:36 pm
    • Breather Saturday
Kwan is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Washington.

Advice: Kwan will head to the bench after he went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in his return to the lineup Friday after missing nearly four weeks with a hamstring injury. David Fry will slot in at left field while Kyle Manzardo enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats sixth against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:23 am

    • Steven Kwan not in Saturday’s lineup vs. Nationals
Steven Kwan is not in the lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Nationals.

Advice: Kwan will take a seat on Saturday afternoon with rookie southpaw Mitchell Parker toeing the rubber for Washington at Progressive Field. The 26-year-old contact-oriented outfielder didn’t show any signs of rust on Friday when he tallied three hits and reached base safely in four of his five plate appearances during his return from the injured list. • Scratched Saturday
Gurriel was scratched from Arizona's lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus the Mets.

Advice: It isn't immediately clear why Gurriel was taken out of the lineup, but the Diamondbacks should provide more information on his status relatively soon. In the meantime, Jake McCarthy will start in left field and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:45 am
    • Lourdes Gurriel Jr. scratched from Saturday’s lineup
Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has been scratched from Saturday’s lineup.

Advice: No word yet on the reason for the change. It’ll be Jake McCarthy taking over in left field on Saturday afternoon against the Mets at Citi Field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:42 am
