    • First homer of June
Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against Atlanta.

Advice: Arozarena went yard in the ninth inning to tally his ninth homer of the season and his first in June. Despite the lack of power, he has managed to hit .263 with a .417 on-base percentage for the month -- both of which are significant improvements over his season-long line. Arozarena is still hitting just .175 for the campaign, though he has also chipped in seven steals. Rotowire.com Today, 6:50 am
    • Randy Arozarena homers in loss to Braves
Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Braves on Saturday.

Advice: Arozarena was hitless until a 403-foot big fly in the ninth inning. It was his ninth of the season and just his 21st RBI all year. The 29-year-old also struck out once and is hitting just .175/.284/.325 on the year. While the overall numbers are bad, there are no glaring red flags to point to. He’s swinging and missing slightly more and is perhaps being a bit too passive this season, potentially leading to worse overall contact quality. There is not much fantasy managers can do but hold on. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:12 pm
    • Goes on concussion IL
The Pirates placed Davis (concussion) on the 7-day injured list Saturday.

Advice: Davis was removed from Friday's 5-2 win over the Rockies with concussion-like symptoms. Jason Delay was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move and should be expected to serve as the primary understudy to Yasmani Grandal at catcher while both Davis and Joey Bart (thumb) are on the shelf. • Pirates place Henry Davis on 7-day concussion IL
Pirates placed C/OF Henry Davis on the 7-day concussion injured list.

Advice: The 24-year-old slugger suffered the injury during Friday night’s contest against the Rockies. Even after the mandatory seven days on the injured list, he’ll still need to pass through the concussion protocol before he’s able to return. Jason Delay was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis in a corresponding move on Saturday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:42 pm

    • Henry Davis exits Friday with possible concussion
Henry Davis was removed from Friday’s game against the Rockies with concussion-like symptoms.

Advice: Davis will continue to be monitored over the weekend and it’s possible he’ll require at least a precautionary trip to the 7-day concussion injured list to allow Pittsburgh to bring in some emergency catching depth. The 24-year-old former top prospect, who was a popular sleeper candidate this spring in fantasy drafts, has gone 2-for-17 with one homer and 11 strikeouts in six games since returning from Triple-A Indianapolis back on June 4. There should be an update on his status at some point this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:56 am

    • Exits with concussion-like symptoms
Davis was removed from Friday's game against the Rockies after exhibiting concussion-like symptoms.

Advice: It's unclear when exactly Davis might have suffered an injury, but he was replaced behind the dish by Yasmani Grandal ahead of the seventh inning. Davis is in the process of being evaluated by the Pirates' medical staff. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:14 pm

    • Returning to lineup Thursday
Ward (back) is serving as the Angels' designated hitter and batting third Thursday versus the Diamondbacks, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Ward was taken out of Tuesday's game due to back tightness and had to miss Wednesday's contest as well, but the issue has now seemingly subsided. Since June 1, the 30-year-old outfielder has gone just 4-for-28 with two RBI and two runs while striking out eight times in nine games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:27 pm

    • Taylor Ward returns to lineup at DH on Thursday
Taylor Ward (back) is in the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ward is back at designated hitter and batting third on Thursday evening following a one-game absence for precautionary reasons due to lower back tightness. The 30-year-old slugger, who has 12 homers and two steals in 65 games this season, has been the subject of trade rumors over the last few weeks and could wind up being moved in the coming weeks. • Randy Arozarena (hamstring) rejoins Rays lineup
Randy Arozarena (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Cubs.

Advice: Arozarena is playing left field and batting second against the Cubs after being held out of the lineup for the last two games of the series due to right hamstring tightness. He was able to pinch-hit each of the last two nights and remained in to play left field last night. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward. Rotoworld Thursday, 12:54 pm
