Despite the lack of power, he has managed to hit .263 with a .417 on-base percentage for the month -- both of which are significant improvements over his season-long line.       Randy Arozarena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Braves on Saturday.

      Advice: Arozarena was hitless until a 403-foot big fly in the ninth inning. It was his ninth of the season and just his 21st RBI all year. The 29-year-old also struck out once and is hitting just .175/.284/.325 on the year. While the overall numbers are bad, there are no glaring red flags to point to. He’s swinging and missing slightly more and is perhaps being a bit too passive this season, potentially leading to worse overall contact quality.       Advice: Davis will continue to be monitored over the weekend and it’s possible he’ll require at least a precautionary trip to the 7-day concussion injured list to allow Pittsburgh to bring in some emergency catching depth.
