    • Handed loss Wednesday
Kimbrel (4-2) allowed an unearned run on two hits over one-third of an inning, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Blue Jays.

Advice: Isiah Kiner-Falefa delivered a walk-off single in the ninth inning to hand Kimbrel his first loss since April 28. This also ended Kimbrel's scoreless streak at 7.2 innings, though he hasn't given up an earned run since May 8. The closer has a 2.95 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 31:9 K:BB and 13 saves in 16 chances through 21.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm

    • Stays hot with four hits
Tatis went 4-for-4 with one RBI in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.

Advice: Tatis was responsible for half of the Padres' hits and run production in the low-scoring game. The 25-year-old is on a heater with an 11-game hitting streak, during which he's batting .432 (19-for-44) with four extra-base hits. He's added 33 points to his batting average during the streak, and he's now at a .795 OPS with 10 home runs, six stolen bases, 32 RBI and 40 runs scored over 65 contests this season. • Registers another quality start
Berrios allowed two runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters over six innings in a no-decision against Baltimore on Wednesday.

Advice: Berrios didn't do much in the strikeout department with just two punchouts, but he was nonetheless very effective in recording his fifth straight quality start. The right-hander has just one win during that span but has put up a very solid 2.73 ERA. Aside from an eight-run, 3.2 inning blowup against Philadelphia on May 7, Berrios has been a model of consistency this season, allowing three or fewer runs in each of his other 12 starts. On the campaign, he's registered a 2.80 ERA along with a 60:21 K:BB across 80.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:32 pm
    • Fernando Tatis Jr. collects four hits in loss
Fernando Tatis Jr. with 4-for-4 with an RBI against the Angels on Wednesday.

Advice: Tatis Jr. was perfect at the plate on Wednesday, reaching base in all four plate appearances. He knocked a base hit in the first and fourth innings before driving in a run on a single in the sixth. He’d knock one more base hit in the eighth to make it 4-for-4. The 24-year-old outfielder is hitting a solid .277/.352/.443 with 10 homers, 40 runs scored, 32 RBI, and six steals across 284 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:14 pm
    • José Berríos delivers quality start versus Orioles
José Berríos allowed two runs over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Orioles.

Advice: Berríos delivered a sixth straight quality start, though he has only one win during the span. Tonight’s outing did nothing at all for his FIP, which has lagged way behind his ERA all year, but he continued to defy his peripherals in finishing the game with two strikeouts, three walks and a homer allowed (a solo shot to Anthony Santander). He’s 5-4 with a 2.80 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:18 pm
    • Craig Kimbrel takes loss to Blue Jays in ninth
Craig Kimbrel, who entered a tie game to start the bottom of the ninth, took a loss after giving up an unearned run Wednesday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: The unearned run was his own fault, as he threw the ball away on a pickoff attempt. The runners to reach against him both did so on singles, and Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s game-winning hit to right would have been caught if Kyle Stowers wasn’t playing shallow to prevent the sac fly with one out. It’s obviously a bad result, but since Kimbrel’s pitching wasn’t really the problem tonight, it’s unlikely to throw the closer’s role in Baltimore into chaos again. • Sitting against lefty
Kirilloff isn't in the Twins' lineup Wednesday against the Yankees.

Advice: With left-hander Carlos Rodon set to take the mound for New York, Kirilloff will retreat into the dugout Wednesday. Willi Castro will move to right field as a result, allowing Kyle Farmer to start at second base while batting ninth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:36 pm

    • Dominant vs. Atlanta
Pivetta (3-4) earned the win Wednesday over Atlanta, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out nine over seven scoreless innings.

Advice: It was a stellar effort against a potent Atlanta lineup from Pivetta, who now has nine strikeouts in consecutive starts while punching out eight or more in four of his last five outings. The 31-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 3.40 with a 0.94 WHIP and 51:9 K:BB across eight starts (42.1 innings) this season. Pivetta is currently in line for a home matchup with the Phillies early next week in his next outing. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:09 pm

    • Nick Pivetta delivers gem in 9-0 win over Braves
Nick Pivetta allowed only one hit over seven innings Wednesday as the Red Sox shut out the Braves 9-0.

Advice: Pivetta fanned nine and walked two in his longest outing of the year. In eight starts this season, he’s been great three times, good three times and bad twice, which probably should have produced something better than a 3-4 record. He might be more valuable for fantasy purposes in the second half of the season, as the Red Sox will likely cash him in before he hits free agency. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:25 pm
