    Cal Raleigh belted a solo homer and also stole a base on Monday in the Mariners’ loss to the Rays.

    Advice: The aptly named “Big Dumper” isn’t exactly known for his stolen base prowess, but he’s flashes strong instincts on the bases throughout his career, and is now up to three thefts on the year. He connected for a fourth-inning solo shot off Rays starter Taj Bradley for his 13th long ball of the year. In addition to filling in at catcher on days that top backstop Salvador Perez gets days off behind the dish, Fermin will factor into the equation at designated hitter, where he had made two of his last three starts.
