• Arrighetti fades late in win over Brewers
Spencer Arrighetti allowed four runs on seven hits in 6 1/3 innings in a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Arrighetti struck out six and walked two on the day. The 24-year-old had allowed one run on five hits through six innings but the Astros brought him out for the seventh and he allowed three hits and one walk to start the inning before the bullpen was called on. Three of those runners would come around to score and drastically change his statline. The rookie sports a 7.16 ERA on the year and likely won’t have many more starts with Jose Urquidy coming off the IL soon. However, Arrighetti could be a streamer next week against the Athletics. • Colin Rea can’t escape 5th versus Astros
Colin Rea allowed five runs on eight hits in 4 1/3 innings in a loss to the Astros.

Advice: Things got off to a rough start for Rea, who allowed four runs on three hits in the first inning. He settled down for three innings after that, allowing three hits but no runs before running out of steam in the fifth. He posted a 19 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW on the day and now sports a 4.07 ERA on the year. He’s a risky start next week in Boston. Rotoworld Today, 2:08 pm

  • Mitch Keller posts quality start in win over Cubs
Mitch Keller posted a quality start in Sunday’s victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on just two hits over six frames.

Advice: The right-hander walked three and struck out three batters on the afternoon. All of the damage one against him came on sacrifice flies — one by Seiya Suzuki in the third inning and another off the bat of Christopher Morel in the sixth. Keller got 10 swings and misses on 83 pitches on the afternoon — seven of those on his heater — while registering a CSW of 30 percent. Now 5-3 on the season, he’ll tote a 3.84 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and a 54/19 K/BB ratio (61 innings) into Saturday’s tough matchup against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 2:07 pm

  • Jameson Taillon allows three runs in loss to Bucs
Jameson Taillon wasn’t at his best in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Pirates, giving up three runs on six hits across 4 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing a pair of walks. He served up a solo homer to Jack Suwinski in the second inning, then kept the Pirates at bay until Nick Gonzales smacked a two-run single in the fifth inning that scored a pair of runners that Taillon had left on base. The 32-year-old hurler got eight swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day, posting a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll look to bounce back as he carries a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and a 22/10 K/BB ratio (32 2/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Cardinals in St. Louis. • Sixto Sánchez roughed up by Mets in loss
Sixto Sánchez allowed four earned runs in four innings on Sunday against the Mets. He struck out two and walked two.

Advice: This version of Sánchez doesn’t get enough swings and misses to be a viable starter as his K% and Whiff% are both near the bottom of the league. The Mets jumped on Sánchez for a four-run first inning in which he threw 40 pitches with just two swings and misses. He did settle in some after the first and touched 96 MPH three times. His ERA as a starter rose to 6.52 in this loss. Rotoworld Today, 2:03 pm

  • Sean Manaea wins, strikes out four
Sean Manaea allowed two earned runs across five innings on Sunday. He struck out four, walked one, and got the win.

Advice: This was a very Manaea start, going five frames, missing bats, and limiting damage. He’s been very solid this season with a 3.11 ERA and three wins in nine starts. Walks have been an issue for him, but not on Sunday. Rotoworld Today, 2:02 pm

  • José Urquidy (forearm) making one more rehab start
José Urquidy (forearm) allowed four runs over four innings with two strikeouts in a rehab start for Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday.

Advice: Urquidy threw 59 pitches in the contest. The line isn’t great, but the more important thing is that he came out of the outing healthy. The right-hander will make at least one more rehab start and then he’ll likely rejoin the Houston rotation near the end of May. Rotoworld Today, 9:19 am

  • Completes four innings
Urquidy (forearm) threw 59 pitches and completed four innings in a rehab appearance with Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday.

Advice: Urquidy was scheduled to complete four innings in the rehab appearance, and he had a successful outing. He threw 38 of his pitches for strikes and reached 93 mph with his fastball. Urquidy could require one more rehab appearance, but he's expected to be activated from the injured list by late May. Rotowire.com Today, 12:15 am

  • Requires additional rehab start
Urquidy (forearm) will make another rehab start after his upcoming outing at Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada said Urquidy is slated for four innings (60-65 pitches) in Saturday's contest, so the Astros will keep him in the minors for an additional rehab appearance to stretch him out further. The 29-year-old righty struggled in his first rehab outing, giving up three earned runs across 2.2 innings with Triple-A Sugar Land. Assuming his third start in the minors will be his last, Urquidy is in line to pitch again for the Astros in Seattle on May 29. Rotowire.com Friday, 2:15 pm
