      Advice: Suarez has converted his last three save chances after a blown save June 18 versus the Phillies. He's now at 20 saves on the year, and he's the fifth pitcher in the majors to reach that milestone in 2024.       Robert Suarez recorded his 20th save after allowing an unearned run in the ninth Tuesday against the Nationals.

      Advice: Marte's homer opened the scoring in the first inning and he added a go-ahead RBI single in the seventh to put the Diamondbacks ahead for good. The second baseman had gone just 2-for-16 over his previous four contests before this multi-hit effort. He's been a big contributor throughout the campaign with a .280/.340/.507 slash line, 16 homers, 46 RBI, 51 runs scored and three stolen bases across 76 games.       Ketel Marte hit a two-run homer in the first and singled in the go-ahead run in the seventh as the Diamondbacks edged the Twins 5-4 on Tuesday.

      Advice: Marte has 16 homers, which is already the third highest total of his career. He’s going to deserve to be the NL’s starting second baseman in the All-Star Game this year, but since the Padres got away with listing Luis Arraez at second after turning him into a full-time first baseman, there’s still some doubt who will get the nod.       Suarez (10-2) took the loss against the Tigers on Tuesday, allowing four runs on nine hits and no walks with four strikeouts over six innings.

      Advice: Suarez opened with four scoreless innings but ran into trouble in the fifth, allowing four runs on five hits in the frame. He rebounded with a scoreless sixth but departed with a 4-0 deficit. This was just the second time Suarez allowed four earned runs in an outing this season, as he had allowed only four total earned runs in 20.1 June innings prior to Tuesday.       Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: Pasquantino singled in the first inning to score Maikel Garcia from third after Garcia walked to kick off the inning and subsequently stole two bases. It would be the only run the Royals would score on the night as they found themselves in a pitching duel between Yonny Chirinos and Seth Lugo.       Ranger Suárez allowed four runs over six innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Tigers.

      Advice: Suárez was simply outdueled by Tigers ace Tarik Skubal on Tuesday night at Comerica Park as the pair traded zeroes until the fifth inning when Detroit’s lineup struck for four runs on five hits in the frame. He finished with four punchouts and didn’t hand out a free pass. It was just the second time this season through 16 starts that he’s allowed four earned runs or more.       Zac Gallen (hamstring) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday.

      Advice: Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo told reporters they’ll make a decision on Gallen’s next step following his latest throwing session. The hope here for fantasy managers is that the 28-year-old ace will be ready to jump right back into Arizona’s starting rotation without needing a rehab assignment.       Advice: Varsho has been held out of Toronto’s lineup for three consecutive games due to back tightness, but appears to be available off the bench for now.
