      Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI exam on his injured groin on Wednesday and there’s concern that he’ll wind up back on the injured list.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar third baseman was pulled from Tuesday’s battle against the Tigers due to left groin tightness. When asked about his status after the game, a dejected Lewis told reporters that “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news. So we’ll see.” All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best.     • Craig Kimbrel slams door on Mariners on Tuesday
      Craig Kimbrel slammed the door on the Mariners on Tuesday night, retiring all three hitters that he faced in the ninth inning to preserve a two-run advantage.

      Advice: It wasn’t the smoothest of innings for Kimbrel, as he plunked Luke Raley to start the frame and also hit Jorge Polanco with one out in the inning, but he rebounded to get Dominic Canzone on a ground out to first and Julio Rodriguez on strikes to end it. Aside from a small blip early in the season, Kimbrel has been exceptional in the ninth inning for the Orioles this season. He has now converted 20 of his first 24 save opportunities on the season while posting a 2.30 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and a 46/14 K/BB ratio over 31 1/3 innings in 35 appearances.
