      Luis Robert Jr. (hip) went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts on Friday in a minor league rehab contest for Triple-A Charlotte.

      Advice: Robert has gone 1-for-12 with a home run in three games for Triple-A Charlotte on his rehab assignment. There’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return early next week, but he’s going to get a couple more minor-league games under his belt this weekend to continue knocking off the rust.     • Triples, drives in four
      Marte went 2-for-4 with a triple, four RBI, a run scored and a walk in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

      Advice: Marte ripped a bases-clearing triple in the first inning and followed it up with an RBI single in the fourth. After a 3-for-19 slump over nine games, he closed out May with three straight multi-hit performances.     • Pete Alonso returns to lineup Friday vs. D-backs
      Pete Alonso went 1-for-5 with an RBI on Friday against the Diamondbacks in his return to the Mets’ lineup.

      Advice: Alonso was able to come off the bench and deliver a pinch-hit double during Thursday’s series opener, less than 24 hours after being diagnosed with a bone bruise in his right hand.       Stroman (5-2) allowed two runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two over 7.1 innings to earn the win over the Giants on Friday.

      Advice: Stroman has pitched into the eighth inning in two of his last four starts, allowing just three runs over 26.2 innings in that span. During his hot stretch, he's posted a 15:7 K:BB, but that's about the only weak spot in his game right now. Stroman is at a 2.73 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 55:29 K:BB over 69.1 innings across 12 starts.     • Marcus Stroman pitches into eighth in victory
      Marcus Stroman gave up two runs over 7 2/3 innings to get a win Friday over the Giants.

      Advice: Stroman allowed six hits with a pair of walks while striking out only two. The punchouts are not the 33-year-old’s strength, but he limits the hard contact and works deep enough into games to give fantasy managers a reason to smile more often than not.       Cease did not factor into the decision in Friday's 11-8 win over the Royals, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Despite generating 16 whiffs out of his 98 total pitches, Cease managed to strike out only five, tying a season-low also reached on May 20 against Atlanta and April 27 against Philadelphia. The Padres ace was cruising through five innings, allowing just two baserunners; however, he unraveled in a 25-pitch sixth inning, allowing four baserunners and departing with just one out.     • Dylan Cease surrenders three runs to Royals
      Dylan Cease allowed three runs over 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Royals on Friday.

      Advice: Cease was pretty great to begin the year, posting a 2.19 ERA in his first eight starts, but this makes four straight outings that have missed the quality-start threshold.       Iglesias allowed a run in the ninth inning while picking up a save against Oakland on Friday.

      Advice: Iglesias notched his 14th save of the year with a fascinating outing. He gave up a leadoff double to Zach Gelof before recording three outs on three consecutive pitches. Gelof would come in to score after two straight groundouts but Atlanta secured the 4-2 win. Iglesias has converted six straight save chances and owns a 2.53 ERA through 21.1 innings.       Raisel Iglesias picked up his 14th save despite giving up a run in the ninth Friday against the A’s.
