    • Blanks Rockies
Brown (5-5) picked up the win Tuesday against Colorado, allowing two hits and three walks with seven strikeouts across 6.0 scoreless innings.

Advice: Brown landed his fourth consecutive win Tuesday and generated his seventh straight quality start. He largely stayed out of trouble, with just two runners reaching scoring position and nobody surpassing first base until the fourth inning. After stumbling early in the season, Brown has been utterly dominant in June, owning a 1.16 ERA with a 36:8 K:BB across 31.0 innings. He's on track for another start before the calendar flips to July, with a matchup against the Mets set for Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 12:06 am
    • Tallies three hits
Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with a double and one run scored in Tuesday's 10-8 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Mountcastle has four multi-hit efforts over his last seven games, going 11-for-28 (.393) in that span. While he hasn't hit a homer since June 7, he's still been consistent at the plate while occupying a starting role at first base. The 27-year-old is slashing .281/.325/.476 with 11 homers, 39 RBI, 43 runs scored, 21 doubles, one triple and two stolen bases over 74 games this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:54 pm
    • Gleyber Torres continues to deal with groin issue
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said after Tuesday’s game that Gleyber Torres’s failure to run hard to first base in the eighth was a product of his groin issue.

Advice: Torres left Thursday and missed Friday’s game with the groin problem before returning Saturday. While Boone let Torres off the hook for his apparent lack of hustle, he did say Torres needed to make a play he missed that gave the Mets two runs in the sixth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:15 pm
    • Hunter Brown picks up fifth win vs. Rockies
Hunter Brown allowed two hits over six scoreless innings while striking out seven to earn the win over the Rockies.

Advice: Brown was allowed to keep things in cruise control after his offense provided him five runs in the bottom of the first. The righty moved his season record to 5-5 on the year and saw his ERA drop to 4.37. Brown has enjoyed a solid June, allowing just four earned runs over 31 innings pitched while posting a 36:8 K:BB ratio. He picked up four wins along the way and will look to get off to a strong start in July when he toes the rubber on Monday against the Blue Jays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:00 pm
    • Ben Rice sitting Tuesday against southpaw
Ben Rice is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: Rice takes a seat on New York’s bench with Mets southpaw David Peterson toeing the rubber. It’ll be newly-acquired veteran J.D. Davis drawing his first start at the cold corner on Tuesday night in his place. The 25-year-old prospect is batting .294 (5-for-17) with one RBI in 21 plate appearances over six games since getting the call to the majors last week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:32 pm

    • Sidelined at least four weeks
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Marte (knee) will be sidelined for "at least four weeks," Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Marte will be shut down for 15 days to allow a right knee bone bruise to heal and will need time to ramp things back up after that. A rehab assignment at some point before activation seems likely. Ben Gamel replaced Marte on the roster and could see some reps in right field, although DJ Stewart and Tyrone Taylor should be higher in the pecking order. Taylor is starting in right Tuesday after Stewart started there in the Mets' previous game Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:22 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Rice is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: With J.D. Davis joining the Yankees roster, Rice is expected to enter the strong side of a platoon with Davis at first base. Rice will take a seat Tuesday for the first time since being called up June 18 as the Mets trot out southpaw David Peterson. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:11 pm

    • Mendoza: Starling Marte (knee) to miss four weeks
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters Starling Marte (knee) is expected to miss at least four weeks.

Advice: It’s a significant loss for the Mets as Marte finally landed on the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Yankees after playing through a right knee issue for an extended period. The 35-year-old veteran corner outfielder has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and Mendoza indicated that it’ll be at least one month before he’s ready to return. That updated timeline means he’ll be sidelined until at least after next month’s All-Star break, if not longer. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm

    • Will not appeal suspension
Diaz will begin serving his 10-game foreign substance suspension Tuesday after declining to appeal the ruling, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: While adamant he didn't use anything illegal, Diaz likely stood little chance of winning an appeal, so he'll get the suspension over with now. The closer will be eligible to return July 6. Adam Ottavino, Jake Diekman and Reed Garrett are candidates for save chances while Diaz is unavailable. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:10 pm
