    • Resting Sunday
Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Hoskins will get a break from the starting lineup after going 3-for-9 in the first two games of Milwaukee's series against the White Sox. Jake Bauers will get the start at first base and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 8:49 am

    • Logan Webb strikes out six in loss to Yankees
Logan Webb gave up four runs over seven innings on Saturday in a loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Webb fell behind right away in this one when he served up a colossal two-run homer to Aaron Judge in the opening frame. He was tagged for a pair of additional runs in the third inning, but managed to escape further damage, and wound up still completing seven frames to spare San Francisco’s bullpen. He struck out six and only handed out one free pass. The 27-year-old workhorse will carry a strong 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67/20 K/BB ratio across 79 1/3 innings (13 starts) into a challenging road matchup on Friday against the Rangers. • Keys victory with grand slam
Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's 9-0 win over the Angels.

Advice: The Mariners held a narrow 1-0 lead before Crawford broke things open with his fourth-inning grand slam. It was the fourth grand slam of his career and his fourth homer for Seattle this season. Each of Crawford's past four hits have gone for extra bases (three doubles, one homer). • Grinds out seven innings
Webb (4-5) allowed four runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out six over seven innings, taking the loss Saturday versus the Yankees.

Advice: Webb gave up a pair of runs in the first and third innings, but he was able to eat innings despite the loss. He threw 74 of 108 pitches for strikes, though this ended his run of four straight quality starts. Webb is at a 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 67:20 K:BB over 79.1 innings across 13 starts this season. After posting a 1.3 BB/9 last year, his walk rate has risen to 2.3 this year, which is in line with previous seasons. Webb is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Rangers. • Crawford hits grand slam in win Saturday
J.P. Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Crawford took Reid Detmers deep with the bases loaded in the fourth inning to put the Mariners up 5-0. The home run was his fourth of the season and second since coming off the injured list on May 20th. Seattle isn’t the best lineup, but Crawford regularly bats leadoff and has shown some pop recently. • Jorge Soler absent from Giants lineup on Saturday
Jorge Soler is not in the Giants’ starting lineup for Saturday night’s battle against the Yankees.

Advice: It looks to be nothing more than a regular day of rest and maintenance for the 32-year-old slugger. Trenton Brooks will serve as the Giants’ designated hitter in his place on Saturday and will bat seventh against Cody Poteet and the Yankees in San Francisco. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:50 pm

    • Taking seat
Soler is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Soler is hitless in his last 14 at-bats with four strikeouts and will get a day off Saturday to regroup. Trenton Brooks will be the Giants' designated hitter and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:49 pm

    • Not starting Saturday
Ruiz isn't in the Nationals' lineup Saturday against the Guardians.

Advice: After going 0-for-4 with a strikeout during Friday's series opener, Ruiz will take a seat Saturday against Ben Lively and the Guardians. Riley Adams will fill in behind the dish and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:46 am

    • Joe Musgrove lands on IL with elbow inflammation
Padres placed RHP Joe Musgrove on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation.

Advice: Musgrove lasted just two starts before an elbow issue winds up sending him back on the shelf. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported that Musgrove is dealing with a recurring triceps/elbow issue, which “is not believed at this time to be a season-ending injury.” The fact that the term season-ending is even being brought up here isn’t an encouraging sign. It certainly doesn’t sound great and fantasy managers should anticipate Musgrove returning anytime soon. There should be some clarity on his status in the coming days once he undergoes some additional imaging to determine whether he’s dealing with any structural damage. Stay tuned.
