    • Luis Rengifo remains in after HBP, gets two hits
Luis Rengifo went 2-for-3 with two runs scored against the A’s on Monday.

Advice: Rengifo was hit in the wrist by a pitch in his first at-bat and was clearly in pain for a bit, but he was able to continue and pick up two knocks afterwards. He scored multiple runs in a game for the first time since May 28. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Today, 9:15 pm

    • Fans eight in no-decision
Bradley came away with a no-decision Monday against Seattle, allowing one earned run on two hits and four walks while striking out eight over 5.1 innings.

Advice: The only run given up by Bradley came on a fourth-inning home run by Cal Raleigh. The right-hander yielded just two hits, but the four walks are a season-worst and he has now walked multiple batters in six of his past seven starts. The 23-year-old has an excellent 10.8 K/9 (91st percentile), but he will need to minimize free passes to stay consistent. On the season, Bradley has recorded a 3.81 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP and a 61:18 K:BB over 49.2 innings. His next start is currently scheduled for this weekend against Washington. Rotowire.com Today, 8:23 pm
    • Robert Jr. has double, two walks in loss Monday
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-2 with a double and two walks against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Robert Jr. only has 91 at-bats this season, but he’s hitting .198 with a 35 percent strikeout percentage. For one of the most talked about potential trade pieces in baseball, he’s really had a rough season. Robert Jr.'s BABIP is only .217, which is well below his career .328 BABIP, but he still needs to cut his strikeouts. Maybe the two walks show that he’s seeing it better at the plate and he can start to turn his season around with a little more than a month before the trade deadline. Rotoworld Today, 8:20 pm
    • Taj Bradley whiffs eight on Monday in no-decision
Taj Bradley struck out eight and allowed one run over 5 1/3 innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: Bradley carried a shutout into the fourth inning on Monday night at Tropicana Field before coughing up a solo homer to Cal Raleigh, which represented the lone tally against him in this one. He induced 12 swingign strikes, including seven on his splitter alone, and finished with a solid 30 percent CSW. The 23-year-old youngster has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four consecutive outings since getting crushed for nine runs by the division-rival Orioles back on June 1. He’ll aim to keep the momentum going on Sunday in an extremely favorable matchup against the Nationals. Rotoworld Today, 7:41 pm
    • Plays light catch Monday
Romano (elbow) played light catch Monday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Romano felt soreness in his right elbow while long-tossing this past Friday, so it's a pleasant surprise he's throwing again already, even if it's just light catch. The veteran reliever has dealt with elbow problems off and on since spring training, so he'll need to clear several hurdles before a timetable for a return can be mapped out. • Logs first multi-hit game
Rice went 2-for-3 in Sunday's loss to Atlanta.

Advice: Rice was one of two Yankees with multiple hits in the contest, and it was the first multi-hit effort of his career. The 25-year-old started at first base for the fifth time in six contests since being called up, and three of those games have been against left-handed starters, against whom he's gone just 1-for-9. Rice has otherwise held his own overall in going 5-for-17 with a 3:3 BB:K, but he'll likely begin yielding some starts against southpaws to J.D. Davis, whom the Yankees acquired Sunday. • Dominates Giants
Gray (9-4) picked up the win Sunday against San Francisco, allowing one run on one hit with no walks across seven innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Gray took a perfect game into the seventh inning before Patrick Bailey launched a solo home run with two outs. Although the Cardinals' bullpen gave up two more runs, Gray was able to claim his ninth win of 2024, his most wins in a season since 2019. The 34-year-old has completed at least seven innings in three consecutive starts and owns a 2.95 ERA along with an 11.1 K/9 across 83.1 innings. He's on track to face the Reds during a four-game series late next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:45 pm

    • Punches out seven
Valdez (6-5) allowed a run on six hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning a win against Baltimore.

Advice: Valdez rolled through five shutout frames without facing too much trouble before Jordan Westburg belted a solo shot in the sixth inning. The Astros gave Valdez plenty of run support as he halted a brief two-start losing streak. It was the third time this year he's struck out at least seven batters, and each of those outings have come in his last eight starts. He's produced an impressive 2.73 ERA through 33 innings this month, lowering his season mark to 3.68 across 80.2 frames. Valdez will carry a 63:26 K:BB into his next outing, which is projected to be on the road against the Mets. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:47 pm
