    • Fans nine in no-decision
Ragans allowed a run on three hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out nine during the loss to Seattle.

Advice: Ragans served up a leadoff home run to J.P. Crawford on just the fourth pitch of the game but was otherwise dominant despite not earning a win. After the homer, Ragans struck out seven of the next 10 batters he faced. It was his second straight quality start and fourth in his last five appearances. He forced a season-high 22 whiffs, including 11 with his changeup. Ragans lowered his ERA to 3.08 alongside a 98:25 K:BB through 79 innings. His next start is expected to be against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Today, 7:49 pm

    • Andrés Muñoz gets hold in return from sore back
Andrés Muñoz, who hadn’t pitched since aggravating his back Tuesday, returned to the mound with a scoreless eighth inning Sunday against the Royals.

Advice: Rather than save him for the ninth, the Mariners opted to use Muñoz against the top of the Royals order in the eighth with a two-run lead today. Muñoz did his part, but Michael Baumann went on to give up a game-tying homer in the bottom of the ninth. The Mariners went on to win in the 10th, with Tayler Saucedo collecting a one-out save. Ryne Stanek, typically the primary alternative to Muñoz, went unused for a second straight day after throwing 39 pitches between Thursday and Friday. Rotoworld Today, 5:22 pm
    • Cole Ragans surrenders one run in no-decision
Cole Ragans limited the Mariners to one run in six innings and struck out nine in a no-decision Sunday.

Advice: The Ragans-George Kirby matchup met expectations, resulting in a 1-1 tie when Ragans departed. Ragans allowed one run or fewer for the eighth time in 14 starts this season. His two bad outings this year have been particularly bad, accounting for 14 of the 27 earned runs he’s allowed, but he’s been terrific overall and should have been than a 4-4 record to show for it. • Jose Altuve belts 10th homer in loss on Sunday
Jose Altuve went 4-for-5 and belted his 10th home run of the season on Sunday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Astros past the Angels in Los Angeles.

Advice: Altuve capped off a four-run rally in the sixth inning with his 406-foot (103.2 mph EV) two-run blast off of Hunter Strickland that extended the Astros’ lead to 7-4. That would be the extent of their scoring though. The 34-year-old second baseman also got the Astros on the board with a run-scoring single in the third inning then scored on an RBI knock by Jeremy Pena. He’s in the midst of another outstanding season at the dish — slashing .297/.348/.454 with 10 homers, 25 RBI and nine stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 4:54 pm

    • Smacks two doubles
Greene went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk, one run scored and one RBI in Sunday's win versus Milwaukee.

Advice: Greene broke out of a 2-for-19 slump Sunday, hitting two doubles to raise his season total to 14. The 23-year-old has shown improved power this season, matching last season's total of 11 home runs in 149 fewer plate appearances. On the season, the left fielder is slashing .243/.342/.451 with 11 home runs, 25 RBI and 43 runs scored over 272 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 4:19 pm

    • Back in action
Munoz (back) recorded one strikeout in a perfect eighth inning Sunday against the Royals. He said he "felt weird" out on the mound and was happy with the outing even though he didn't feel like he had his best stuff or command, per Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times.

Advice: He was the first reliever out of the bullpen after George Kirby tossed seven innings of one-run ball. Mike Baumann came on in the ninth inning and gave up two earned runs to blow the save (and eventually pick up the win). It sounds like Munoz will be considered available going forward, although his back might not feel fully healthy. Rotowire.com Today, 4:06 pm
    • Struggles in no-decision
Ober escaped with a no-decision Sunday against Pittsburgh, allowing four earned runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.2 innings.

Advice: Ober did not allow a home run for the first time since May 12, but his recent struggles continued. The right-hander yielded three extra-base hits Sunday and has now given up multiple earned runs in five consecutive starts. During that span, the 28-year-old has limped to a 7.61 ERA and a 1.76 WHIP in 23.2 innings. Ober will look to bounce back in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend versus Oakland. • Jazz Chisholm homers in loss to Guardians
Jazz Chisholm Jr. went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Jazz absolutely demolished a fourth-inning offering from Carlos Carrasco 440 feet and 108.1 mph for his ninth home run of the season. The 26-year-old has lowered his strikeout rate and raised his walk rate this season, but it hasn’t led to much of an improvement in batting average. Still, he’s likely going to hit 20 home runs with at least 25 steals, which makes him a great bat for your fantasy teams. Rotoworld Today, 2:47 pm

    • Bailey Ober hit around in no-decision against PIT
Bailey Ober allowed four runs on seven hits in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: This now marks five straight mediocre starts for Ober, who has allowed 20 earned runs in his last 23 1/3 innings over those five starts. It was easy to explain away Ober’s poor stats early in the season when he only had one bad start, but this has been a rough stretch. The tall right-hander saw his velocity up across his entire pitch mix today, and the Pirates certainly didn’t hit him overly hard, but he did allow seven hard-hit baseballs. There are no glaring red flags, and you have to keep Ober in your lineup for next week’s game against the Athletics. Rotoworld Today, 2:22 pm
