    • Does light running
Harris (hamstring) began running Wednesday, but there's still no timetable for when he'll be ready for a rehab assignment, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Harris suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain June 14 and was able to do some light running for the first time since sustaining the injury. Considering he still has multiple checkpoints to hit before being sent on a rehab assignment, Harris can safely be ruled out until after the All-Star break. Rotowire.com 19 minutes ago

    • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Alvarez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Alvarez started the first two games of the series but will sit Wednesday after going 3-for-10 with a double, a triple, three RBI and six strikeouts. Luis Torrens will handle the catching duties for rookie righty Christian Scott. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago
    • Lands on IL with adductor strain
The Twins placed Lewis on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right adductor strain.

Advice: The 25-year-old was removed from Tuesday's game against the Detroit due to left groin tightness, but it's now being reported as a right adductor injury. According to Dan Hayes of The Athletic, Lewis is dealing with a Grade 2 strain and will be sidelined through the All-Star break before being reevaluated. Even in a best-case scenario, he'll likely miss some time behind that while building back up to game readiness. Prospect Brooks Lee was called up in a corresponding move and should take over as Minnesota's primary third baseman while Lewis is out. Rotowire.com 37 minutes ago

    • Twins place Royce Lewis (groin) on 10-day IL
Twins placed INF Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list with a right adductor strain.

Advice: Unfortunately, the 25-year-old superstar heads back to the injured list where he has spent far too much time over the past three seasons. Twins’ general manager Derek Falvey told reporters on Wednesday that Lewis will be sidelined at least through the All-Star break and will then be re-evaluated. Top prospect Brooks Lee had his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move on Wednesday and he should see plenty of action while Lewis is shelved. Rotoworld 41 minutes ago

    • Royce Lewis (groin) heading for MRI on Wednesday
Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI on Wednesday after being removed from Tuesday’s game with left groin tightness.

Advice: Lewis expressed concern to reporters afterwards that he’ll wind up back on the injured list since the Twins don’t want to take any chances with his long-term health. “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you,” said Lewis. “I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news. So we’ll see.” All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. There should be an official update on his status prior to Wednesday’s game. It’ll likely be top prospect Brooks Lee, who boasts a stratospheric 1.029 OPS with seven homers in 20 games this season for Triple-A St. Paul, coming up to take his spot at the hot corner, if he winds up requiring a trip to the injured list. • Shohei Ohtani hits 27th homer in win over D-backs
Shohei Ohtani clobbered his 27th home run of the season on Tuesday night as the Dodgers rallied to defeat the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ohtani, who told reporters afterwards that he’s unlikely to participate in the upcoming All-Star Home Run Derby, led off the home half of the first inning with a double and scored the game’s first run on an RBI double off the bat of Teoscar Hernandez. He then flipped the game in the Dodgers’ favor with a mammoth 433-foot (112.0 mph exit velocity) two-run shot off of Justin Martinez in the seventh inning that made it a 4-3 ballgame. Ohtani finished the night 3-for-5 and is now slashing an absurd .320/.402/.646 with 27 homers, 64 RBI and 16 swipes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:18 pm

    • Homer among three hits in win
Ohtani went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ohtani was a triple shy of the cycle in another impressive game from atop the order. Over his last 20 games, the superstar has slugged 12 homers and driven in 23 runs while batting .351 (26-for-74). He's been outstanding all year and seems to be getting better with his recent performance. Ohtani has a .320/.402/.646 slash line with 27 long balls, 64 RBI, 69 runs scored and 16 stolen bases through 83 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:09 pm

    • Set for MRI on groin injury
Lewis is set to undergo an MRI and additional testing for the left groin injury he suffered in Tuesday's win over Detroit, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. "This is out of my control," Lewis said. "So what I can control, I'm very happy about, but this is out of my control. I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I'm praying, but it's usually always horrible news. So we'll see."

Advice: Lewis suffered the injury after legging out a double in the third inning and played two more innings in the field before departing. It sounds like Lewis may be headed for an injured list stint based on his comments, but more will known after the MRI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm

    • Exits with groin tightness
Lewis was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Advice: It's unclear exactly when Lewis suffered the injury, though it's possible he may have tweaked his groin running out of the batter's box during his last at-bat in the third inning. The Twins are considering him day-to-day, so there's a chance he was simply removed as a precaution given his injury history. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:12 pm
