      Bradley (3-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the Nationals. He struck out 11.

      Advice: Bradley held the Nationals off the board while matching a season high in strikeouts. Since allowing nine runs and four homers against Baltimore on June 1, Bradley has been on a heater, posting five-consecutive starts allowing two earned runs or fewer while accumulating double-digit strikeout totals during two of those outings. During that stretch, he's completed 29 innings, allowing just four earned runs (1.24 ERA) with a 1.00 WHIP and 40 strikeouts.       Ryan McMahon went 1-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base against the White Sox on Sunday.

      Advice: McMahon’s stolen base was his third of the year. He started the scoring as he came around on a Garrett Crochet balk in the second inning and scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly off the bat of Michael Toglia in the 14th inning.     • Hoerner extends hitting streak with home run
      Nico Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run against the Brewers on Sunday.

      Advice: It was a quiet afternoon for the Cubs’ offense as they could only muster one run against the Brewers. Hoerner’s home run was just his fourth of the year.     • Taj Bradley strikes out 11 in win
      Taj Bradley blanked the Nationals over 5 2/3 innings in a 5-0 win on Sunday. He struck out 11 and walked two.

      Advice: Bradley was dominant in this one. The 11 punch-outs matched his season-high and the Nationals were helpless against his terrific fastball. Living in the top of the zone, it forced 10 swings and misses and brilliantly set up his diving splitter. Bradley looks every bit the top-end starter he was billed as.       Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored while also drawing two walks in Saturday's extra-innings win over the Giants.

      Advice: Ohtani took Spencer Howard deep in the top of the third to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead and later came around to score for a second time in the 11th after drawing a leadoff walk. The slugger is now up to 12 homers in the month of June, with nine of them coming over his last 12 games.       Advice: Merrill increased San Diego's lead to 4-0 with a fourth-inning solo blast and capped the scoring in the contest with an RBI double in the eighth. The rookie has homered in back-to-back contests and in half of his past 10 games. Extended further, Merrill's power surge has included nine long balls over his past 16 contests, and he's slashing .333/.365/.817 with 18 RBI and 12 runs during that stretch.     • Shohei Ohtani belts 26th homer in win over Giants
      Shohei Ohtani belted his 26th home run of the season on Saturday night, helping to power the Dodgers past the Giants in extra innings.

      Advice: The 29-year-old superstar victimized right-hander Spencer Howard in the third inning for his 412-foot (109.7 mph EV) solo shot that briefly gave the Dodgers a 2-1 advantage. He also drew a pair of walks and struck out twice in the contest, finishing the evening 1-for-4. One of those walks was intentional in the 11th inning, where he then raced around to score on a two-run double off the bat of Will Smith.       Jackson Merrill went 3-for-5 with a homer, double and two RBI in a blowout win Saturday over the Red Sox.

      Advice: Merrill continues to impress in his rookie campaign, and his slash after the three-hit game is now a healthy .288/.322/.456. The 21-year-old outfielder swatted a solo homer off Tanner Houck — one of three homers for the Padres off Houck on Saturday — and he drove in a run with a single for good measure.
