• Candelario has two-hit game in loss Saturday
Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with an RBI against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: It was a relatively quiet night for the Reds offense. Despite scoring five runs, four of them were unearned thanks to an error by Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki. Candelario chipped in later with an RBI single. After hitting .189 in April, he hit .247 with three home runs in 24 games in May. Candelario has had a wRC+ of at least 117 in two of the previous three seasons. Look for him to get hot with the bat again soon. Rotoworld Today, 10:45 pm

  • Hits homer in loss
Schmitt went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Schmitt got the Giants on the board in the third inning. This was his first game since his recall Friday and his seventh contest of the season. He's gone 5-for-26 (.192) with two extra-base hits and three RBI. Schmitt will be an option at shortstop primarily, but he also has experience at second and third, so he may settle into a utility role while in the majors. Rotowire.com Today, 10:45 pm

Advice: The Mariners held a narrow 1-0 lead before Crawford broke things open with his fourth-inning grand slam. • Swanson hits fifth home run Saturday
Dansby Swanson went 1-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a two-run home run against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Swanson’s two-run home run in the eighth inning was the difference in the Cubs’ 7-5 victory over the Reds. It was his fifth home run of the season. Swanson is due to improve at the plate at some point as his .208 batting average is the worst of his career and his .131 ISO is his worst since his first full MLB campaign in 2017. • Pops 14th homer
Stanton went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: Stanton padded the Yankees' lead with an eighth-inning blast. Prior to Saturday, he was stuck in a 1-for-20 slump over the previous five games. Stanton is up to 14 homers, 31 RBI, 24 runs scored, eight doubles and no stolen bases while slashing .231/.279/.487 over 52 contests this season. Rotowire.com Today, 10:32 pm
  • Belts 19th long ball
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in a 5-2 win against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker hit one of four homers against Minnesota starter Joe Ryan with a solo shot in the third inning. It was the 19th long ball of the campaign for the outfielder, second in the majors behind Aaron Judge (21). Tucker is easily on pace to surpass the career-best mark of 30 homers he established in both 2021 and 2022. Rotowire.com Today, 10:32 pm

  • Suzuki hits triple, grand slam in win Saturday
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a triple and a grand slam against the Reds on Saturday.

Advice: Suzuki’s home run was his sixth of the season and second in the last three games. He seems to be completely over the oblique injury he dealt with earlier this season. Suzuki is 12-for-37 (.324) with two home runs and seven RBI over his last nine games.

  • Crawford hits grand slam in win Saturday
J.P. Crawford went 1-for-4 with a grand slam against the Angels on Saturday.

Advice: Crawford took Reid Detmers deep with the bases loaded in the fourth inning to put the Mariners up 5-0. The home run was his fourth of the season and second since coming off the injured list on May 20th. Seattle isn’t the best lineup, but Crawford regularly bats leadoff and has shown some pop recently. • Kyle Tucker homers and walks against Twins
Kyle Tucker homered and walked in a victory for the Astros over the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker also drew a walk. The 27-year-old is already up to 19 homers on the season with a .976 OPS to pair with them. Even with the Astros having a disappointing 2024 campaign, Tucker has been as good as he’s ever been over the first two-plus months of the campaign. Rotoworld Today, 5:03 pm
