• Hits second bomb in three games
Cruz went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Cruz' go-ahead no-doubter to right-center in the sixth put the Pirates up for good. Cruz, who also doubled, collected his first multi-hit game in 12 games and only his third since April 6. The talented shortstop, who broke a 17-game homer-less string on Friday, has gone 14-for-42 (.333) over his last 13 games with two homers, six RBI and a steal. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

  • Jonny DeLuca delivers game-winning triple for Rays
Jonny DeLuca went 2-for-4 with a game-winning, two-run triple in the bottom of the 10th as the Rays outlasted the Mets 7-6 on Sunday.

Advice: Harrison Bader was shaded the other way and came up just a little short on a diving attempt for DeLuca’s shot to center in the 10th. The ball that rolled all of the way to the wall, and it might have been an inside-the-park homer if the winning run wasn’t already on base. DeLuca also had an RBI single earlier in the contest. He might be limited to playing mostly against lefties once the Rays get Josh Lowe back, but as is, he’s started three straight games since coming off the IL and gone 3-for-11 with six RBI. • Jose Caballero steals four bases with no hits
Jose Caballero stole four bases and scored three runs without recording a hit Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Only against the Mets. Caballero walked three times today and also got a steal as the automatic runner in the 10th inning. He’s just the second player this millennium to steal four bases without getting a hit; Everth Cabrera did so for the Padres in 2012. Caballero leads the AL with 13 steals in 18 tries this season. • Jeff McNeil goes 0-for-4 in loss to Rays
Jeff McNeil went 0-for-4 on Sunday and is 1-for-16 in his last four games.

Advice: The NL batting champ when he hit .326 in 2022, McNeil slipped to .270 last year and is at .231 right now. Of course, that’s not coming with a lot of power or many walks, either. The Mets aren’t about to take him out of the lineup with any regularity, but perhaps they should cease using him in left field on those days when they decide someone else should play second base. • Juan Soto propels Yankees past Tigers on Sunday
Juan Soto delivered a go-ahead three-run double in the seventh inning on Sunday, propelling the Yankees to a 5-2 victory over the Tigers in the Bronx.

Advice: The Tigers came back with a pair of runs to tie the game in the top half of the seventh inning, but the Yankees’ bats went right back to work in the home half of the frame. They loaded the bases against Shelby Miller with a single and a pair of walks, then Soto greeted Andrew Chafin with a three-run double into right field to put the Bombers back on top to stay. The 25-year-old superstar finished the day 1-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts and is now hitting .316/.421/.559 with eight homers, 28 RBI and four stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld 44 minutes ago

  • Aaron Judge leaves the yard in win on Sunday
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 and launched his seventh home run of the season on Sunday as the Yankees defeated the Tigers.

Advice: Judge opened the scoring in the contest, crushing a 399-foot (109.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Tigers’ star southpaw Tarik Skubal in the home half of the first inning. He also doubled, drew a walk and struck out in the ballgame. On the season, the 32-year-old superstar is now hitting .220/.350/.439 with seven homers, 20 RBI and two stolen bases. • Spencer Torkelson has two doubles, RBI in loss
Spencer Torkelson went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI as the Tigers fell to the Yankees on Sunday afternoon in New York.

Advice: Torkelson smacked a two-out double off of Nestor Cortes in the second inning, but was left stranded there. He then got the Tigers on the board with a run-scoring double off of Ian Hamilton in the seventh inning. He’s still searching for his first home run of the season, but he does have 11 doubles and perhaps his bat is finally showing some signs of life. On the season, he’s slashing .216/.283/.304 with 12 RBI. Rotoworld 44 minutes ago
  • Cal Raleigh hits go-ahead homer in Mariners’ win
Cal Raleigh hit a tiebreaking homer in the top of the ninth Sunday as the Mariners edged the Astros 5-4.

Advice: Two big homers in two days for Raleigh, who now has eight longballs on the season. He’s actually just 3-for-35 at the plate in his last 10 games, but he’s making those hits count. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago

  • Jon Singleton hits third homer in loss to Astros
Jon Singleton went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It sure seems like the Astros were missing out by not going from José Abreu to Singleton earlier. Joey Loperfido still might wind up as Houston’s first baseman, but Singleton has earned himself a longer look by hitting .268 with three homers in his 16 starts this year. Rotoworld 48 minutes ago
