Gray was mostly in charge the rest of the way allowing only one more run and recording 10 punch outs.       Advice: Alvarez also drew a walk. The 26-year-old slugger took Joe Ryan deep with a runner on in the first, and did more damage against Ryan with a solo shot in the fifth. That ups Alvarez’s total to 11 roundtrippers on the year, and he’s plated 25 over the first 59 games of the season for the Astros. Alvarez has been as good as any hitter in baseball the last few years, and it’s the only reason why those numbers and a .283/.357/.480 slash seem slightly disappointing.       Advice: Ginkel took a hard-hit comebacker to his left leg during Saturday's game against the Mets and was immediately removed from the contest. However, he seems to have avoided significant injury, and manager Torey Lovullo expressed optimism that Ginkel could be ready as soon as Sunday.       Ginkel was hit in the left leg by a comebacker during Saturday's game against the Mets and was removed from the game, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports. He threw one perfect inning before the incident.

      Advice: Ginkel was the first arm out of the bullpen for the Diamondbacks on Saturday, replacing Slade Cecconi late in the fifth inning.
