    • J.T. Realmuto on bench to begin Sunday vs. Nats
J.T. Realmuto is not in the lineup to begin Sunday’s game against the Nationals.

Advice: Realmuto will take a seat Sunday for the finale against the Nationals. Garrett Stubbs will handle catching duties in Realmuto’s absence and hit eighth. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:55 am

    • Adley Rutschman not starting Sunday vs. Mariners
Adley Rutschman is not in the lineup for Sunday’s finale against the Mariners.

Advice: Rutschman gets a rare day off for the finale against George Kirby and the Mariners. While Rutschman rests the Orioles will have James McCann behind the plate. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:48 am
    • Absent from lineup Sunday
Rutschman is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup against the Mariners, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 26-year-old catcher will get a break Sunday in Baltimore's series finale against the Mariners. James McCann will start at catcher in place of Rutschman and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:43 am
    • Adley Rutschman scores twice in rout of Mariners
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and a pair of runs scored as the Orioles routed the Mariners on Friday evening at Camden Yards.

Advice: Rutschman singled and scored during the Orioles’ five-run uprising off of Bryce Miller in the first inning. The 26-year-old backstop then plated Gunnar Henderson with an RBI double off of Kirby Snead in the seventh inning and raced around to score on an RBI double off the bat of Austin Hays. He continues to perform as one of the top offensive catchers in the game — slashing .318/.353/.514 with nine homers, 28 RBI and one stolen base. Rotoworld Friday, 6:38 pm
    • Walks off Toronto
Rutschman went 2-for-4 with a walk and a two-run homer in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: After Jordan Westburg led off the ninth with an infield hit, Rustchman launched a deep fly ball off Jordan Romano that just cleared the right-field fence, giving the Orioles a 3-2 walk-off victory. Rutschman's now homered in three straight games, totaling four long balls in that span. The 26-year-old backstop is slashing .314/.350/.509 with nine homers, 27 RBI and 24 runs scored through his first 40 games this season. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 2:20 pm
    • Adley Rutschman hits walkoff homer to down Jays
Adley Rutschman hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to give the Orioles a 3-2 win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday.

Advice: It was a towering blast, but it traveled only 345 feet, and a fan interfered with the ball over the fence, though it was correctly decided that it would have been a homer anyway. Statcast said it would have left nine of the 30 ballparks. It was Rutschman’s second career walkoff homer. He has four homers in his last three games after totaling five in his first 37. His OPS has jumped from .781 to .859 as a result of those three games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:14 pm
    • Makes return to lineup
Realmuto (knee) will start at catcher and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Advice: Realmuto will re-enter the starting nine after sitting out each of the past three games while managing a sore right knee. Provided he doesn't experience any setbacks in his return to action, Realmuto should resume handling one of the heftier workloads in the league among No. 1 catchers, though it wouldn't be surprising if the Phillies gave him a breather later this week or had him serve as a designated hitter for a game. • J.T. Realmuto returns from sore knee
J.T. Realmuto is back in the Phillies lineup for Wednesday’s game against the Mets.

Advice: He’s catching and batting second tonight after missing the last three games with knee soreness. Rotoworld Wednesday, 12:05 pm

    • Expected back Wednesday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Tuesday that he expects Realmuto (knee) to return to the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Mets, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Realmuto missed a third straight start Tuesday because of right knee soreness. However, he got in a productive workout pregame, and as long as he doesn't have any sort of setback, it appears he'll be back in there for Wednesday's tilt in Philadelphia. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:34 pm
