    • Racks up eight punchouts
Lopez (3-2) yielded a run on four hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Athletics.

Advice: Lopez worked around some trouble throughout the contest and turned in one of his best starts of the year. He recorded a season-high eight strikeouts with 16 whiffs, including nine with his slider. It was the first time he recorded more than five punchouts in a start since April 30. Lopez has produced six quality starts in 10 appearances, resulting in a 1.73 ERA through 57.1 frames. His next start is projected to be in Washington. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm

    • Reynaldo López holds A’s to one run in victory
Reynaldo López limited the A’s to one run in six innings and struck out eight in Atlanta’s 4-2 victory Friday.

Advice: Another quality start moves him to 3-2 with a 1.73 ERA. That López has had a very light schedule has played some role in his success to date. His 10 starts have seen him face none of the league’s top five offenses by OPS yet each of the bottom four (the Mariners, Pirates, Marlins and White Sox). He’s certainly been good and he might continue to be until he starts to run out of gas, but he’s had it awfully easy thus far. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:25 pm

    • Josh Hader fans two in non-save situation vs. M’s
Josh Hader struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning on Thursday against the Mariners.

Advice: Hader got the call to protect a four-run advantage in a non-save situation and made things interesting by giving up singles to Julio Rodríguez and Ty France before striking out Dominic Canzone and getting Mitch Haniger to ground out to extinguish the threat. The 30-year-old lefty has allowed just two runs with a 20/4 K/BB ratio across 11 appearances since the start of May. Simply put, he remains one of the few elite closers in the fantasy landscape. • Not starting Thursday
Lopez won't start Thursday's game against the Nationals, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Lopez pitched on four days of rest for the second time all season Saturday, allowing three runs (two earned) in 4.2 innings -- his shortest start of the season. Rather than sending him to the mound after a traditional four-day rest period again, Atlanta will push his next start back and give the ball to Ray Kerr to close out its current series against Washington. The team hasn't yet announced when Lopez's next start will come, though it's possible he simply moves back a day to start Friday's series opener against the Athletics. • Yields run Sunday
Hader allowed a solo home run and struck out one batter during Sunday's win over Oakland.

Advice: Hader entered a non-save situation and eventually finished off the 5-2 win, but not before coughing up a solo shot to Shea Langeliers. That homer snapped Hader's 8.1-inning scoreless streak and his seven-inning hitless streak. The veteran southpaw owns a 4.13 ERA with a 38:9 K:BB and seven saves this season. • Blows save Sunday
Foley was charged with the blown save Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing three earned runs on two hits and one walk in 0.2 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander was called upon with one out in the eighth inning and two runners on base. He allowed a single and a walk before Daulton Varsho took him deep to give the Blue Jays a two run lead. Despite the rocky appearance, Foley should remain the Tigers' closer for the time being. He is now 11-for-13 in save chances this season with a 3.54 ERA. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:41 pm

    • Jason Foley takes blown save in eighth inning
Jason Foley took a blown save after giving up three runs in the eighth Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Foley was called into a 9-6 game with two on and one out in the eighth. He quickly retired Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who had four hits on the day, but he went on to five up a two-run single to Bo Bichette, and after it looked like he might escape from there, he surrendered a three-run homer on an 0-2 pitch to Daulton Varsho. Foley’s stuff has declined since the beginning of the year, though this is just the second time it’s cost him. If he’s still the favorite for saves in Detroit for now, he’s definitely encouraged A.J. Hinch to ramp up the mixing and matching. At this point, no one else in the Tigers pen stands out enough to warrant a pickup in shallow leagues. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:27 pm

    • Lasts just 4.2 innings
Lopez (2-2) took the loss Saturday in Pittsburgh, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk over just 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Saturday marked the right-hander's shortest outing of the season and also his fewest number of pitches thrown (70) in a start this year. Lopez labored a bit in the third and fourth frames, and Atlanta manager Brian Snitker elected to pull his starter after he yielded a two-out single in the fifth. The righty hasn't won a game since April 16 even as he still holds a 2.43 ERA since that date. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:57 pm

    • Reynaldo López gives up three over 4 2/3 vs. Pirates
Reynaldo López went 4 2/3 innings and gave up three runs — two earned — in a start Saturday against the Pirates.

Advice: Lopez gave up five hits with one walk while striking out three. The right-hander allowed an RBI single in the third, and two more runs scored on a Nick Gonzales double. Even with a shaky outing, the 30-year-old still has a sensational 1.75 ERA on the season. He’s scheduled to fact the Nationals at home Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:42 pm
