After that, however, Lugo retired nine straight batters and kept the Brewers off the scoreboard until the seventh inning. He was seemingly set up for his sixth win of the season with the Royals up 5-3 heading into the ninth, but Willy Adames took Lugo out of contention for the W with a go-ahead three-run home run.       Advice: Paredes ripped an absolute moonshot to left field in the sixth inning off Chicago reliever Brad Keller for his eighth round-tripper of the season. It was the first time he’s gone deep since April 28. The 25-year-old pull-happy slugger has been a four-category fantasy monster this season with a .299 batting average through 34 contests.     • Seiya Suzuki (oblique) starting rehab assignment
      Seiya Suzuki (oblique) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Iowa.

      Advice: Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Suzuki is likely to return to Chicago’s lineup later this week on either Friday or Saturday when they take on the Pirates. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has been sidelined since mid-April due to a right oblique strain, which was expected to keep him on the shelf for at least one month.
