    • No run support in loss
Luzardo (2-4) took the loss Tuesday against the Marlins, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four in six innings.

Advice: Luzardo managed to reach six innings for a third consecutive start, but never had a shot for a win after the Marlins were shut out. The Padres quickly got to him in the first with a two-run blast from Jurickson Profar and then Profar notched another RBI in the fifth. It was the first time Luzardo has allowed runs in the opening frame this season. The 26-year-old will carry a 4.18 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 50:16 K:BB (51.2 innings) into his next start against the Rays next week. Rotowire.com Today, 7:46 am
    • Nails down 13th save
Iglesias struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 13th save of the season in a 2-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The right-hander topped out at 97.5 mph and fired nine of 11 pitches for strikes as he breezed through the top of Washington's order. Iglesias appears to be finding his peak form, reeling off four straight scoreless appearances with a 5:0 K:BB. On the season, he sports a 2.21 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB through 20.1 innings. • Blanks Nats for fifth win
Fried (5-2) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up seven hits and a walk over eight scoreless innings in a 2-0 victory over the Nationals. He struck out six.

Advice: The southpaw was locked in a surprising pitchers' duel with Jake Irvin through six innings, but Fried outlasted his opposite number and Atlanta got to Washington's bullpen in the seventh. Fried has produced five quality starts in his last seven trips to the mound, allowing zero runs in four of them, and he sports a stellar 1.43 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 42:12 K:BB through 50.1 innings over that stretch. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which lines up to come at home this weekend against the A's. Rotowire.com Today, 7:37 am

    • Stays consistent versus Astros
Castillo did not factor into the decision in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Astros, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out six in six innings.

Advice: Castillo remains winless over his last three starts but has consistently been putting up solid results. He's now two earned runs or fewer in nine straight starts dating back to April 14 and eight of those starts have gone at least six innings. His lone mistake on the evening was serving up a two-run homer to Alex Bregman in the fourth to give the Astros a 2-1 lead. He's now given up five home runs over his last four starts. Castillo owns a 3.28 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 75:19 K:BB in 71.1 innings and will face the Angels at home his next time on the mound. Rotowire.com Today, 4:41 am
    • Luis Castillo delivers eighth quality start
Luis Castillo threw six innings of two-run ball against the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: It’s the fourth straight start in which Castillo has allowed exactly two runs. He hasn’t given up more than two earned runs since his third start of the year on April 8, and his ERA is down to 3.28. He’ll face the Angels next. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:01 pm
    • Jesús Luzardo takes loss following quality start
Jesús Luzardo lost Tuesday after allowing three runs in six innings against the Padres.

Advice: Even a third straight scoreless outing wouldn’t have gotten Luzardo a win tonight, as the Marlins were shut out by the Padres. At this point, Luzardo is just playing out the string until an inevitable midseason trade. He’ll take a 2-4 record and a 4.18 ERA into his next start versus the Rays. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:13 pm
    • Records eighth save
Yates allowed a hit and a walk while striking out two over one scoreless inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Yates' first save since May 8, as opportunities have been few and far between for saves recently. He pitched four times between saves, allowing one run on two hits and three walks over three innings. The right-hander has eight saves, two holds, 0.90 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 25:10 K:BB over 20 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
    • Kirby Yates earns eighth save vs. D-Backs
Kirby Yates earned his eighth save of the season in Tuesday’s win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Yates had to tightrope out of danger to earn the save in this one. The righty allowed a two-out walk to Eugenio Suárez only to see a single by Gabriel Moreno move Suárez into scoring position. Fortunately for Yates, a strikeout of Kevin Newman would end the game and secure the win for the Rangers, who have now won back-to-back games after dropping their previous six. • Raisel Iglesias nails down 13th save in win
Raisel Iglesias threw a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in a 2-0 win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Iglesias struck out two and didn’t allow a hit as he picked up his 13th save of the season. He doesn’t get the respect that other elite closers get, but Iglesias has been one of the most reliable options in fantasy baseball for a while now. He has a 2.21 ERA on the season and figures to remain near the league-leaders in saves as the season goes on. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
