    • Sparks rally Monday
Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-3 win over the Tigers.

Advice: It was a close game until the sixth inning, when Perez ignited a six-run rally for the Royals with his solo shot. The catcher has hit safely in six straight games, going 10-for-21 (.476) in that span. the homer was his first since May 3. Perez remains one of the top hitters in baseball this season with a .341/.404/.565 slash line, nine long balls, 38 RBI, 19 runs scored and 11 doubles over 47 contests. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

    • Homers in loss
Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Gurriel snapped a 26-game homer drought with his eighth-inning blast. The outfielder has gone 11-for-45 (.244) over his last 12 contests, adding just five RBI and five runs scored in that span. He's at a .236/.284/.385 slash line with six homers, 27 RBI, 24 runs scored and two stolen bases over 44 contests this season. He's never posted a batting average lower than .261 or an OPS lower than .743 over a full season, so there's room for Gurriel to turn things around in 2024. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago
    • Slugs grand slam in win
Freeman went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Monday's 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The homer was Freeman's first since May 11 and his third in May. He gave the Dodgers the lead in the third inning, and they never looked back. Freeman is up to five long balls, 29 RBI, 31 runs scored, one stolen base and a .298/.409/.464 slash line through 50 contests. He's not hitting for as much power as he did last year, when he racked up 29 homers, 59 doubles and a .567 slugging percentage, but there's little to complain about from what the first baseman's provided so far in 2024. • Freddie Freeman delivers grand slam in victory
Freddie Freeman went 2-for-4 and hit a grand slam Monday as the Dodgers down the Diamondbacks 6-4.

Advice: The Dodgers scored all of their runs in the third, an inning that also featured homers from Kiké Hernandez and Will Smith. Freeman’s slam was the sixth of his career. He actually went his first 10 seasons without one, but he’s been playing catchup after finally collecting his first in Sept. 2020. Rotoworld Today, 10:23 pm

    • Picks up steal Monday
Goldschmidt went 0-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Goldschmidt's hitting streak came to an end at eight games, but he was still able to provide a contribution in his lone trip on base Monday. The first baseman's streak has helped to get him out of deep slump, though he's still hitting just .209 on the season. He's added a meager .592 OPS with four home runs, 16 RBI, 23 runs scored and three steals over 198 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 10:04 pm
    • Fired seven innings
Wacha (4-4) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk over seven innings Monday, striking out three and earning a win over Detroit.

Advice: Wacha kept the Tigers off the board until Kerry Carpenter took him deep with a solo shot in the fourth inning. Colt Keith later added an RBI double in the seventh. Wacha has turned in three straight quality starts and earned a win in each one. Before this hot streak, he went 0-4 with a 7.01 ERA over a five-start span. The veteran righty is sporting a 4.45 ERA with a 47:18 K:BB through 56.2 frames. Wacha's next start is expected to be in Tampa Bay this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 8:27 pm

Salvador Perez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: The home run was Perez’ ninth of the season. It came in the sixth inning off Tigers reliever Joey Wentz. Perez is now 16-for-41 (.390) against left-handed pitchers this season. He’s hitting an incredible .341 overall. The 34-year-old is a career .269 hitter and has never even hit .300 in a single-season where he’s played at least 100 games.

    • Wacha picks up fourth win Monday
Michael Wacha allowed two runs in seven innings and picked up the win in the Royals’ 8-3 victory over the Tigers on Monday.

Advice: The win was Wacha’s fourth of the season. He allowed six hits, a walk, and struck out three. The Tigers only runs against Wacha came on a Kerry Carpenter solo home run in the fourth inning and a Colt Keith RBI double in the seventh inning. Wacha’s ERA is now 4.45 on the season. So far he’s rewarded fantasy managers that picked him up for his two-start week. The 32-year-old right-hander is scheduled to face the Rays on the road this weekend.

Thomas (knee) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Harrisburg on Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: Thomas is set to play Tuesday and Wednesday before being reevaluated. Assuming all goes well, it would set him up to be activated ahead of the Nationals' weekend series against the Mariners.
