    • Hitting for power
Siri went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double Wednesday against the Cubs.

Advice: The 28-year-old looked to be in line to lose playing time as both Jonny DeLuca and Josh Lowe have gotten healthy, but Siri has now started 11 of the Rays' last 13 games. He has gotten hot at the right time to maintain his role, as he's smacked four homers and four doubles in that span, overshadowing his 34.8 percent strikeout rate. Siri is hitting just .192 for the season and has stopped running -- he has one stolen base since April 6 -- but he may be able to continue producing in the short term. • Hits seventh homer
Marte went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk, two total runs and two total RBI in Monday's 10-4 victory against the Marlins.

Advice: Marte swatted a 434-foot solo shot in the fifth inning and added an RBI single in the eighth. The veteran outfielder finished with two hits for the third straight game. He's on a hot streak that has lasted more than two weeks -- Marte has seven multi-hit efforts in 10 contests since May 29 and is batting .471 (16-for-34) with nine RBI, eight runs and two stolen bases over that stretch. • Starling Marte goes deep as Mets crush Marlins
Starling Marte went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI on Wednesday night, helping to power the Mets to a 10-4 victory over the visiting Marlins.

Advice: The 35-year-old outfielder clobbered a mammoth 434-foot (106.4 mph EV) solo shot off of Braxton Garrett in the fifth inning that increased the Mets’ advantage to 6-4. He also drove in a run with a two-out RBI single in the eighth inning that capped off the scoring in the ballgame. Marte drew a walk as well, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances. He has been highly productive when healthy this season, slashing .288/.338/.437 with seven homers, 28 RBI and 10 swipes in his first 59 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:48 pm

    • Steven Kwan collects two hits in loss Wednesday
Steven Kwan went 2-for-5 with a pair of singles and a run scored on Wednesday as the Guardians fell to the Reds in Cincinnati.

Advice: Kwan got things started with a one-out single off of Nick Lodolo in the third inning, then came around to score the game’s tying run as David Fry worked a two-out walk with the bases loaded. The 26-year-old outfielder also looked like he had an RBI single in the fourth inning, but Brayan Rocchio was cut down at the plate. On the season, Kwan is now slashing a ridiculous .380/.445/.534 with four homers, 16 RBI and three stolen bases. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:07 pm

    • Sitting against lefty
Nimmo is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Marlins.

Advice: Nimmo has struck out eight times across his last 14 plate appearances, and he might have had a tough time bouncing back Wednesday against a left-handed starting pitcher (Braxton Garrett), so he'll be given the day off to regroup. Tyrone Taylor will replace Nimmo in left field and will bat sixth. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:17 pm

    • On base four times in win
Kwan went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Reds.

Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder just keeps raking. Kwan has hit safely in seven straight games since returning from a hamstring injury at the end of May, batting a blistering .520 (13-for-25) over that stretch, and the only thing keeping him from leading the majors with his .380 batting average is the time he missed due to the injury, as he doesn't yet have enough plate appearances to qualify. Kwan's 3-for-7 performance on the basepaths is a bit troubling, but with four homers and 38 runs through 39 contests, he's on pace for career highs in both categories. • Christopher Morel has two hits, HR in loss
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo home runs and two runs scored in a loss to the Rays on Tuesday.

Advice: Morel crushed a 409-foot home run off of Zach Eflin for his 13th home run on the season. Both of his hits were at least 102.7 mph, but he also struck out once in the game, so he showed his full profile. The 24-year-old is hitting just .208 on the year, so even though the power is undeniable, he’ll need to keep producing like this if he wants to remain a fixture in the lineup as the Cubs make a playoff push over the summer. • Pops 13th home run
Morel went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Rays.

Advice: Morel connected for this third home run of the month and 13th of the season in the fourth inning. The 24-year-old is now halfway to his long ball total from last year through 66 games. Morel only needed 107 contests to record those 26 homers in 2023, but he seems primed to play more games this season if he stays healthy, and that could result in a new career best in the power department. • Taking on-field BP
Edman (wrist) will take batting practice on the field at Busch Stadium on Tuesday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: The switch-hitting Edman was recently cleared to hit from both sides of the plate and will now progress to taking on-field BP for the first time since last October's right wrist surgery. Edman's progress from the operation has been slow and involved numerous starts and stops, but he's been trending in a positive direction for the last few weeks and he might not be far off from a rehab assignment.
