    Advice: Ross was reportedly dealing with some back tightness before Monday's start, but he felt good enough to give it a go after warming up. However, his back tightened back up during a 15-pitch first inning, per Minnaert.     Starling Marte was ejected from Monday’s game in the fourth inning for arguing balls and strikes.

    Sheehan revealed Monday that last week's right elbow surgery was an internal brace procedure, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: The internal brace procedure typically allows for a shorter rehab than your traditional Tommy John surgery, although Sheehan noted Monday that he's been told to expect the rehab to last 13 months.     Danny Jansen went 3-for-5 with a homer, a double and five RBI as the Blue Jays bested the White Sox 9-3 on Monday.

    Advice: Jansen, who hadn’t batted higher than fifth this season until today, had his big game from the second spot in the lineup. He’s batting .333/.397/.681 with five homers and just nine strikeouts through 78 plate appearances. It seems like more than just a hot streak, so he’s probably a top-10 fantasy catcher for the short term. Still, staying healthy has been quite an issue for the 29-year-old. Rotoworld 47 minutes ago
