• Smacks homer No. 8
Naylor went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run during Sunday's 4-1 win over the Angels.

Advice: Naylor entered Sunday's game 2-for-19 in his past five games but broke out of the cold spell with a 410-foot homer in the eighth inning off Matt Moore. With eight home runs through 32 games, Naylor is well on his way to a career high in the category, which he set with 20 home runs over 122 games in 2022. He boasts a monstrous .263 ISO this season. • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hits grand slam versus Nats
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 and hit his fifth career grand slam Sunday against the Nationals.

Advice: Guerrero also walked. The homer off MacKenzie Gore was his first since April 10. He’s now hit in eight straight games, raising his OPS from .643 to .711. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago
  • Spencer Torkelson has two doubles, RBI in loss
Spencer Torkelson went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI as the Tigers fell to the Yankees on Sunday afternoon in New York.

Advice: Torkelson smacked a two-out double off of Nestor Cortes in the second inning, but was left stranded there. He then got the Tigers on the board with a run-scoring double off of Ian Hamilton in the seventh inning. He’s still searching for his first home run of the season, but he does have 11 doubles and perhaps his bat is finally showing some signs of life. On the season, he’s slashing .216/.283/.304 with 12 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm
  • Jon Singleton hits third homer in loss to Astros
Jon Singleton went 2-for-4 and hit a two-run homer Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: It sure seems like the Astros were missing out by not going from José Abreu to Singleton earlier. Joey Loperfido still might wind up as Houston’s first baseman, but Singleton has earned himself a longer look by hitting .268 with three homers in his 16 starts this year. • Back to baseball work
Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Sunday that LeMahieu (foot) recently resumed hitting but that the veteran infielder may not be "that close to being ready for rehab [games]," Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The 35-year-old was shut down for a week in late April after he experienced swelling in his foot during a rehab game, and he's now back to taking part in baseball activities. It's an encouraging development following the setback, but LeMahieu still has some work to do in his recovery before again being cleared for minor-league action. Rotowire.com Today, 2:35 pm

  • Josh Naylor hits eighth homer against Angels
Josh Naylor went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Angels on Sunday.

Advice: That’s eight homers and 26 RBI in 32 games for Naylor. He’s fifth in the AL in both categories (tied for fifth in homers). Maybe he won’t keep up the home run pace, but he should boast exceptional RBI numbers throughout. Rotoworld Today, 1:21 pm

  • Brandon Drury goes 0-for-4 in loss to Guardians
Brandon Drury went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the loss to the Guardians on Sunday.

Advice: Drury is fortunate injuries have left his playing time unchallenged, since he’s struggled mightily in hitting .161/.225/.215. His strikeout rate is actually down, but his power has followed, and he’s been pretty unlucky when it comes to picking up singles. Still, he’ll probably have until Anthony Rendon returns to snap out of it. Rotoworld Today, 1:20 pm

  • Ready to go Sunday
Bohm (hip) is starting at third base and batting fifth Sunday against the Giants, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Advice: The 27-year-old was removed from Saturday's contest due to right hip tightness but is back in the starting nine a day later. Bohm has been one of the best hitters in baseball through the first five weeks of the season with a .364/.435/.579 slash line in 34 games. Rotowire.com Today, 1:11 pm

  • Idle against lefty
O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: The lefty-hitting O'Hearn finds himself on the bench for the second day in a row while Cincinnati brings another southpaw (Nick Lodolo) to the hill. O'Hearn's absence will allow the Orioles to give infielder Gunnar Henderson a day off playing defense, as the third-year player instead serves as Baltimore's designated hitter.
