    Rafael Devers was removed from Saturday’s battle against the White Sox due to soreness in his knee.

    Advice: Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after the game that, “His knee is bothering him.... hopefully it’s nothing worse than a little bit of soreness.” Devers said after the game that he won’t play on Sunday, but is hoping to return to action on Tuesday.   • Brice Turang swipes another bag in win over Tigers
    Brice Turang went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a pair of runs scored on Saturday afternoon as the Brewers eked out a one-run victory over the Tigers in Detroit.

    Advice: Turang led off the game with a walk, advanced to second on a balk and raced around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Christian Yelich. He singled again in the third inning and ultimately scored on a ground ball off the bat of Willy Adames. The speedy 24-year-old then reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but was ultimately stranded at third.     Yankees’ manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Saturday that there’s a possibility superstar outfielder Juan Soto winds up on the 10-day injured list with his forearm injury.

    Advice: As of now they’re taking things day-to-day, but Boone has already said that Soto won’t play this weekend and his status for Monday’s series opener against the Royals in Kansas City remains in the air.
