    • Maintains red-hot bat
Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two runs Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo continues to swing a hot bat, collecting three more hits including a game-tying homer in the seventh. Following a 10-game hit streak, Nimmo's bat had cooled a bit with just one hit in his 10 previous at-bats, though he did reach base four additional times via walks. Nimmo carries a solid .247/.367/.815 slash line on the season with 13 dingers, 50 RBI, 53 runs and five steals. However, over his last 14 games Nimmo is slashing .382/.477/.782 with six homers, 18 RBI and 20 runs scored. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:34 pm

    • Notches fifth win
Beeks (5-4) blew the save and picked up the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing an unearned run on two hits and zero walks while striking out one batter in two innings of work.

Advice: Beeks came on in the 13th inning and allowed the ghost runner to score on an RBI single by Luis Robert, resulting in a blown save. The 30-year-old rebounded in the 14th inning, however, retiring the side in order to earn his fifth win of the season. Although Beeks was used in a high-leverage role Sunday, Tyler Kinley pitched two scoreless innings in the 11th and 12th and remains the preferred late-inning option for the Rockies. Beeks will continue to be in the mix for saves, but he is just 6-for-11 in save opportunities this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:59 pm

    • Brandon Nimmo doubles, homers
Brandon Nimmo went 3-for-5 with a home run, double, walk, three RBI, and two runs scored on Sunday against the Astros.

Advice: Nimmo’s two extra-base hits came at extremely clutch times for the Mets: his two-run homer, the 100th of his career, tied this game in the seventh and his RBI double again brought the Mets even in extra innings. His resurgence over the last few weeks has been a spectacle as he’s pulled his OPS up from .708 on June 13th to .815 today. He’s found a home in the two-hole of the Mets’ lineup and is on pace for 26 homers, 30 doubles, 106 runs scored, 100 RBI, and 10 stolen bases this season. That is the statline of a bona fide stud. • Brandon Pfaadt strikes out eight Sunday vs. A’s
Brandon Pfaadt recorded eight strikeouts and yielded one run over six innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Athletics.

Advice: Pfaadt carried a shutout into the fifth inning on Sunday afternoon at Chase Field before coughing up a solo shot to Zack Gelof, which represented the lone tally against him in a low-scoring affair. He generated 13 swinging strikes, utilizing his entire five-pitch arsenal in this one, and finished with a near-elite 37 percent CSW. It was the type of outing fantasy managers have been expecting more consistently this season from the 25-year-old hurler on the heels of last year’s stellar postseason run. He’ll carry a respectable 4.28 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 94/26 K/BB ratio across 103 innings (17 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the division-rival Padres. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:51 pm
    • Shohei Ohtani goes 0-for-5 in loss to Giants
Shohei Ohtani went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts on Sunday in the Dodgers’ blowout loss to the Giants.

Advice: We’re fairly confident he’s going to be just fine moving forward. There will be days like this, even for generational superstar like Ohtani, who launched his 26th round-tripper of the season during Saturday’s extra-inning win over the division-rival Giants. The 29-year-old slugger has gone deep nine times over his last 15 contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:37 pm

    • Continues to dominate
Bradley (3-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the Nationals. He struck out 11.

Advice: Bradley held the Nationals off the board while matching a season high in strikeouts. Since allowing nine runs and four homers against Baltimore on June 1, Bradley has been on a heater, posting five-consecutive starts allowing two earned runs or fewer while accumulating double-digit strikeout totals during two of those outings. During that stretch, he's completed 29 innings, allowing just four earned runs (1.24 ERA) with a 1.00 WHIP and 40 strikeouts. He'll look to keep things rolling during his next start, tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Rays travel to Arlington to take on the Rangers. • Gives up two homers in loss
Waldron (5-7) took the loss Sunday against the Red Sox. He gave up four runs (three earned) on six hits, one walk and three strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Advice: Waldron was plagued by the long ball, as he allowed two homers in a start for the first time this season. He snapped a streak of nine straight starts in which he allowed two runs or fewer. The knuckleballer has been a revelation for the Padres rotation this season, and he'll take a 3.56 ERA and 1.19 WHIP into his next start vs. the Diamondbacks. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:21 pm
    • Matt Waldron pulled in fifth in loss to Red Sox
Matt Waldron yielded four runs — three earned — in 4 1/3 innings Sunday in a loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Waldron didn’t seem to have his best knuckler today, and the Red Sox wound up with eight hard-hit balls against him, including a pair of homers. This snaps a string of six straight quality starts for Waldron. He hadn’t pitched fewer than five innings or allowed more than two runs in nine starts since May 5. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:38 pm
    • Taj Bradley strikes out 11 in win
Taj Bradley blanked the Nationals over 5 2/3 innings in a 5-0 win on Sunday. He struck out 11 and walked two.

Advice: Bradley was dominant in this one. The 11 punch-outs matched his season-high and the Nationals were helpless against his terrific fastball. Living in the top of the zone, it forced 10 swings and misses and brilliantly set up his diving splitter. Bradley looks every bit the top-end starter he was billed as. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm
